A single suction type centrifugal fan includes a casing, an impeller, and a main plate. The casing includes a side plate and a motor fixing side plate, and the side plate and the motor fixing side plate are arranged in parallel. A rectifying plate is provided between the motor fixing side plate and the main plate, and the rectifying plate is formed from an inclined surface in which an area of a cross section orthogonal to a rotation shaft is reduced toward the impeller around the rotation shaft of a motor. A first rectifying plate diameter at another side of the rectifying plate closer to the impeller is smaller than an impeller diameter of the impeller.

Single suction centrifugal blower

A centrifugal air blower includes a casing having a spiral scroll, an impeller contained in the casing, an inlet side panel having an inlet, and a motor-fixing side panel fixing a motor. The centrifugal air blower further includes a first triangle wall and a second triangle wall at a discharge outlet opposite to a tongue. The triangle wall where air velocity inside the casing is slower is shaped with a longer vector component (length B) in the direction from the discharge outlet to the impeller than the other triangle wall. This configuration makes the air velocity near the discharge outlet uniform and suppresses a decrease of static pressure, an increase of power consumption, and turbulent flow noise.

Centrifugal air blower

A single suction type centrifugal includes: a casing; and an impeller housed in the casing and provided with a plurality of blades fixed to an impeller main plate. The casing includes a suction side plate having a suction port, and a motor fixing side plate. A center portion of the impeller main plate is fixed to the motor, and a main plate opening is formed in the impeller main plate between the blades and a center portion of the impeller main plate. A blade end portion imaginary plane passes end portions of the blades on a motor fixing side plate side and is perpendicular to a rotary shaft of the motor. A constriction portion is formed where a distance between the blade end portion imaginary plane and the motor fixing side plate is narrowed between the main plate opening and the blades.

Single suction type centrifugal fan

A fan with a sound muffling box includes a box having a box inlet port and a box outlet port located on opposite sides from each other; and a double suction centrifugal fan encased in the box. The centrifugal fan includes a motor, a discharge port, an impeller, a scroll, and a casing side plate. The casing side plate has a motor-side inlet port, and an opposite-motor-side inlet port opposite to the motor-side inlet port with respect to the impeller. The discharge port is inclined with respect to the box outlet port. The fan with the sound muffling box further includes a sound insulating board disposed on the box inlet port in such a manner as to hide the opposite-motor-side inlet port and also to divide the box inlet port into plural regions when the inside of the box is viewed from the box inlet port.
