Disclosed is a material that effectively utilizes natural resources and is friendly to the environment as a whole. Specifically, disclosed is a barrier material that has excellent strength and excellent affinity and adhesion to a paper base due to an interaction with paper fibers and that gives sufficient barrier properties even in the form of a thin film. A laminated body () includes, on at least one surface of a base () made of paper, a fiber layer () containing fine cellulose fibers each having a fiber diameter of 1 nm or more and 10 &#x3bc;m or less. Disclosed is a dispersion liquid containing fine cellulose fiber capable of uniform dispersion in an organic solution or resin and capable of use in electronic components. Further disclosed are a laminate body and a cellulose film obtained from fine cellulose fibers with improved water resistance. Further disclosed are a fine cellulose fiber dispersion liquid which forms a film as an undercoat of a base material, in particular of a base material made from naturally occurring materials such as polylactic acid, wherein said film has an improved adhesiveness with respect to said base material; and a laminate body using the same. The fine cellulose fiber dispersion liquid contains at least fine cellulose fibers, and either an ammonia or an organic alkali.

The present invention provides a formed article, or more specifically a transparent substrate, which effectively utilizes a natural stuff and which has a low linear expansion coefficient, a high light transmittance and an appropriate level of moisture permeability. The transparent substrate includes at least an oxidized polysaccharide and has a linear expansion coefficient of 50 ppm/&#xb0; C. or less at 30-150&#xb0; C. and a light transmittance of 70% or more at 660 nm. Its manufacturing method includes an oxidation process in which cellulose reacts with TEMPO or its derivatives as a catalyst to be oxidized in water under the presence of a co-oxidant, along with a fiberizing process in which the oxidized cellulose is fiberized in water to form a cellulose fiber, and a substrate-forming process in which a transparent substrate is formed from a cellulose dispersion liquid containing the cellulose fiber.
