A digestive organ internal contents sampling capsule for sampling internal contents in a digestive organ includes: a cylindrical container insoluble in a digestive tract for housing the internal contents in the digestive organ; an outer lid enclosing an orifice of the cylindrical container and to dissolve at least partially in the digestive organ; an inner lid arranged in the cylindrical container, and to swell in response to contact with the internal contents in the digestive organ to enclose the orifice of the cylindrical container after the orifice is exposed by dissolving of at least a part of the outer lid; and a marker material to be discharged together with the cylindrical container housing the internal contents in the digestive organ and feces.

A biometric system includes: a camera that captures a subject; a pressure information collection unit that detects a pressure value of at least one sole of the subject; a skeleton direction vector calculation unit that calculates a skeleton direction vector of the subject captured by the camera; a floor reaction force vector calculation unit that calculates a floor reaction force vector on a basis of information on pressure from the pressure information collection unit; and an analysis result output unit that displays, in a superimposing manner, the skeleton direction vector calculated by the skeleton direction vector calculation unit and the floor reaction force vector calculated by the floor reaction force vector calculation unit.

A watching system, which calculates a fall probability of an imaged person to be fallen using a computer which includes a processor and a memory, includes a trunk extraction unit that receives time-series skeleton information of the imaged person, calculates an angle between a head and a waist of the imaged person based on the skeleton information, extracts the angle as a trunk of the imaged person, calculates the center of the trunk as a trunk center based on trunk information set in advance, extracts a trunk to be reference as a reference trunk from a time-series trunk calculated from the time-series skeleton information, and holds a center of the reference trunk, and a fall probability calculation unit that calculates a distance between a trunk center of the reference trunk and a trunk center of the trunk as a deviation amount, and calculates the fall probability from the deviation amount.

Watching system, watching method, and recording medium

Appropriate measurement and analysis parameters are set according to cerebral function to be measured. To measure gustatory function, a time period of absence of cerebral activity to be measured is set so as not to contain a period of 60 seconds after start of stimulation, an activity period for analysis for an oxyhemoglobin concentration change signal is set so as to contain a period between an instant after a lapse of 16 seconds, and an instant after a lapse of 25 seconds, after the start of the stimulation, and an activity period for analysis for a deoxyhemoglobin concentration change signal is set so as to contain a period between an instant after a lapse of 28 seconds and an instant after a lapse of 37 seconds after the start of the stimulation. Moreover, a time interval between stimulations is set to 80 seconds or more.

Biological optical measurement instrument

A typical task assigned for measuring a brain activity signal lasts from 10 to 30 seconds. The frequency band of the Mayer wave noise signal is very close to the frequency bands of brain activity signals, a result, it is difficult to reduce the Mayer wave noise signal using a bandpass filter or a bandcut filter. Light irradiating units and light detecting units for detecting the emitted light that has been passed through or reflected within the tissue are provided. A biological signal measuring unit measures at least one of the pulsation, breathing, blood pressure, and temperature. The relationship between an optical signal obtained by the light detecting unit and a biological signal using non-linear analysis; and a computation for separating the biological noise signal from the optical signal on the basis of the obtained relationship.

Biological optical measurement system

There is provided a living body light measuring device capable of monitoring a time curve of a blood substance concentration as time curves of parameters of a signal waveform and judging or analyzing characteristic traits of a subject relevant to the parameters of the signal waveform, wherein a signal processor extracts parameters such as a peak value and latency from a hemoglobin signal waveform measured before and after substance intake of a testee, and generates and displays a time curve graph having a parameter and time respectively as its ordinate and abscissa. Influence of an intake substance upon blood component concentrations and blood flow can be monitored by monitoring the time curves of parameters of the signal waveform. A category processor classifies measurement data into categories, analyzes time curves of a plurality of parameters every category, and displays a result on a result viewer.
