A sample pretreatment device of an aspect of the present invention includes a conveyance mechanism () including a Z-axis guide () that linearly moves in two axes of an X axis and a Y axis and expands/contracts in a Z-axis direction on a table () where a unit that performs each step of pretreatment is arranged. The Z-axis guide () is integrally provided with a liquid handler () and a grip handler () oriented in opposite directions to each other. A side wall of a housing () on the autosampler side is provided with a sample conveyance opening (). When pretreatment of a sample ends, the Z-axis guide () is moved to a position close to the opening () in a state where a gripper () grips a pretreated plate. An arm () enters a housing of the autosampler through the opening () and an opening formed in the autosampler, and sets a plate at a predetermined position. Thus, the sample pretreatment device can eliminate the labor of the worker setting a pretreated sample in the analysis device.

In a state in which a ferruleis sandwiched and fixed between a ferrule receiving partand a ferrule pressing part, the ferruleis urged toward the ferrule receiving partside by an urging member. With this structure, without configuring such that the ferrule pressing part is screwed in the ferrule receiving part by rotating several times, the ferrulecan be pressed toward the ferrule receiving partside by a sufficient pressing force by the urging force of the urging member. Therefore, the attaching work of the columncan be performed more easily.

A piercer washing port is provided at a position on the trajectory of a piercer differing from the sampling position. The piercer washing port is cylindrically shaped and has an opening for inserting the piercer in the upper surface and a washing space for housing the piercer inserted from the opening. Air injection ports for injecting air and washing liquid expelling ports for expelling water serving as a washing liquid are provided on the inside wall surface of the piercer washing port. The air injection ports are provided at four locations equally spaced on the periphery along the inside wall surface of the washing space. The washing liquid expelling portsare provided at four locations equally spaced on the periphery along the inside wall surface of the washing space at different positions than those of the air injection ports.
