Silver halide color photographic light-sensitive materials comprising

A photographic film, particularly a 35-mm film, which can tear only in a direction opposite from the picture regions of the film. Cuts, such as a V-shaped notch or a linear cut, are formed in the film extending from each perforation in a direction opposite to the picture region of the film. If a high force is applied to the perforations of the film while the film is being conveyed, the film will tear only at the notch thus absorbing the force and preventing damage to the film conveying mechanism.

A silver halide photographic emulsion, whose sensitivity is enhanced without fogging, containing at least one organic thioether compound and at least one compound represented by the formulae (I), (II) and/or (III):

A silver halide multilayer color sensitive material comprising a red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, a green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer and a blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer on a support, wherein each silver halide emulsion layer contains a non-diffusible image forming coupler, the improvement which comprises at least one of the silver halide emulsion layers comprising an upper unit silver halide emulsion layer, a middle unit silver halide emulsion layer and a lower unit silver halide emulsion layer, in which the sensitivity of the three unit silver halide emulsion layers decreases in order from the upper unit silver halide emulsion layer to the lower unit silver halide emulsion layer, and at least the middle unit silver halide emulsion layer contains a development inhibitor releasing compound.

Multilayer color sensitive materials

A photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereon at least one silver halide photographic emulsion layer and at least one of the layers of the photographic light-sensitive material containing a compound represented by the following general formula (I) or (II); ##EQU1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 each represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic residue, or R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 can combine to form a ring; and Z represents an alkylene group; or an organic acid salt or a mineral acid salt of the compound represented by the general formula (I) or (II). The photographic material can be developed at an elevated temperature without fog information and a decrease in photographic sensitivity.

Photographic light-sensitive material containing anti-fogging agent

A method of developing an exposed silver halide photographic material having a silver halide emulsion layer containing a heterocyclic compound having at least one nitrogen atom, having a thione group which does not undergo enolation positioned next to the nitrogen atom, and not having a nitro group in an aldehyde type hardening agent containing developer at a temperature of not less than about 30.degree.C.

Developing method

A photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereon at least one silver halide photographic emulsion layer with at least one of the layers of the photographic light-sensitive material containing a compound represented by the following general formula (I) or (II) ##EQU1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, and R.sub.3 each represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic ring residue, and R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 can combine to form an alkylene group; R.sub.4 represents those groups other than a hydrogen atom as described for R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 ; and R.sub.5 represents an alkylene group of a polyoxyalkylene group having at least 4 carbon atoms, or the organic acid salt or mineral acid salt thereof.
