It is an object of the present invention to accurately maintain a positional relationship between a lens held in a holding member and an optical fiber without requiring any complicated operation. The invention includes a holder (), at one end of which a housing section () that houses a ball lens () is formed and at the other end of which an insertion hole () for inserting an optical fiber () is formed, and a magnet () provided outside in a direction crossing a housing direction of the ball lens at the one end of the holder, in which the magnet generates an attracting force for aligning a center of the ball lens with a center of an optical element provided in a coupling target.

Optical coupling member, optical connector and electric connector

The present invention provides an optical coupling member and an optical connector using the optical coupling member, capable of improving the efficiency of an assembly work of the optical connector and positioning optical fibers in the optical connector with high accuracy. The optical coupling member () has: holding members () for being able to hold optical fibers () that are inserted from insertion holes () formed at end parts; lenses housed in housing parts formed at opposite end parts of the holding members (); and a joining member () for connecting the holding members () as aligned in parallel to each other, the joining member being formed of an elastic material.

Optical coupling member and optical connector using the same

In order to fix an optical fiber to a desired position in a holding member easily and tightly, provided is an optical collimator () having a plastic optical fiber () and a cylindrical holder (). The holder () is configured to hold a collimator lens () at an end and has an insertion hole () at an opposite end for inserting the plastic optical fiber (). The plastic optical fiber () is sandwiched by an inner surface of a recess () which is formed at a part of the holder () in proper alignment with the collimator lens ().

A speaker unit is realized which directly drives a vibration plate having a low density, light weight, yet sufficient rigidity with a digital audio signal, and can thereby transmit vibration of a voice coil thereof to a carbonaceous acoustic vibration plate without loss. The present invention provides a digital speaker unit including a speaker body () comprising a carbonaceous acoustic vibration plate (), a delta-sigma modulator () and a thermometer code conversion section () that convert a multi-value bit digital audio signal supplied from a digital sound source () to a digital signal with required bits, a plurality of voice coils () that cause to vibrate a plurality of the carbonaceous acoustic vibration plates () provided in accordance with the number of digital signal bits and a driver circuit () that individually drives each voice coil () based on the digital signal.

Speaker unit

A carbonaceous acoustic diaphragm whose density is reduced while retaining the required stiffness is provided. Carbon nanofibers and spherical particles of PMMA are mixed into a carbon-containing resin such as a polyvinyl chloride resin, and the mixture is carbonized to vaporize the spherical particles of PMMA, thereby forming a porous structure having pores with the carbon nanofibers in a powdered form uniformly dispersed through amorphous carbon. By forming a multilayer structure by combining the porous layer with a layer that does not use PMMA, the density can be further reduced while retaining the stiffness.
