A throttle device includes a coil spring that has a first spring part, a second spring part, and an intermediate hook connecting the first spring part to the second spring part for biasing a throttle valve. The first spring part is engaged with a rotation member coupled to a throttle shaft. The second spring part is engaged with a throttle body. The intermediate hook is configured to engage with a first stopper formed on the rotation member and a second stopper formed on the throttle body. The intermediate hook includes a first part on the first spring part side and a second part on the second spring part side. When the intermediate hook is engaged with the first stopper or the second stopper, the first part abuts on the first stopper or the second stopper.

A double eccentric valve: a valve seat; a rotary shaft; a valve gear with a rotary shaft base end portion; a motor rotating the shaft via a valve gear; bearings supporting the shaft in a cantilever manner; a return spring giving, to the valve gear, spring force for rotating the shaft in a valve body closing direction; and a full-close stopper to restrict valve gear rotation with the shaft when the valve body is fully closed. When the motor is not driven, the valve gear partially contacts the full-close stopper by spring force, moment acting on the valve gear is caused to act on the rotary shaft with the contact point serving as a fulcrum, the rotary shaft is tilted toward the valve seat with the contact point between the rotary shaft and the bearing serving as a fulcrum, and thus, the valve body is pressed against the valve seat.

Double eccentric valve

Rotation angle detection apparatus includes a magnet provided in a main gear and a magnetism detector positioned to face to the magnet. Magnet rotates integrally with main gear and magnetism detector detects changes in magnetic field of magnet so a rotation angle of main gear is detected. Main gear includes bottomed recessed part and plurality of mounting pins arranged in recessed part. Magnet is inserted in recessed part wherein a part of magnet protrudes from an upper end of the recessed part. Magnet inserted in recessed part is pressed against main gear by an elastically deformable retaining plate made of non-magnetic material. An outer portion of retaining plate includes plurality of mounting holes. Magnet inserted in recessed part is pressed against main gear by elastically deformed retaining plate and mounting pins inserted in mounting holes are thermally caulked wherein magnet is secured to the main gear.
