A straddle type vehicle comprising a rear fender arranged on an upper side of a rear wheel, and a monitoring device configured to monitor a traveling environment on the periphery of a vehicle, wherein the monitoring device includes a pair of sensors, the rear fender includes a sensor support member configured to support one of the pair of sensors on a left side of a vehicle body and the other on a right side of the vehicle body, the sensor support member includes a pair of left and right side wall portions, and a bottom wall portion configured to connect the pair of left and right side wall portions, and the pair of sensors are arranged along the pair of left and right side wall portions on the bottom wall portion.

Straddle type vehicle

The straddle type vehicle comprises an antenna that can receive a wireless signal of a predetermined frequency band, and a sensing unit for sensing a situation in front of the vehicle. A constituent component of the vehicle is arranged between the antenna and the sensing unit.

To provide a parking brake apparatus for a saddled vehicle actuated in response to a reverse rotation on a throttle grip which is set in a simplified structure. A parking brake apparatus for a saddled vehicle includes a parking brake caliper configured to restrict a rotation of a rear wheel while the motorcycle is parked; a steering handle configured to steer a front wheel; and a throttle grip mounted on the steering handle and configured to control output of a power unit. The control unit actuates the parking brake caliper by a motor when at least the throttle grip is reversely rotated and the vehicle speed is zero. The throttle grip being reversely rotated is detected according to information from a throttle position sensor which is interlocked with the throttle grip.

Parking brake apparatus for saddled vehicle

A straddle type vehicle comprising a vehicle body frame including a head pipe and a main frame extending from the head pipe to a rear side, and a headlight unit provided on a front side of the vehicle body frame, and further comprising a support stay fixed to the vehicle body frame to support a predetermined vehicle constituent component on the front side of the vehicle body frame, and a driving support sensor fixed to the support stay on a lower side of the headlight unit.

A straddle type vehicle comprises: a detection unit for detecting a condition of front of a vehicle; a cleaning member capable of cleaning the detection unit; and a movable apparatus for changing a position of the cleaning member in relation to the detection unit in a height direction of the vehicle, wherein the cleaning member, by the changing of the position, performs the cleaning by wiping with a portion of the detection unit where the cleaning unit contacts the detection unit.

A straddle type vehicle include a headlight unit configured to emit light ahead of a vehicle, and a detecting unit configured to detect a situation on a front side of the vehicle. The headlight unit includes a peripheral wall portion that defines an outer shape thereof. The peripheral wall portion includes a concave portion in which the detecting unit is arranged.
