A high frequency treatment instrument can be opened and closed between a first grasping jaw and a second grasping jaw. A lumen is formed inside the first grasping jaw. The first grasping jaw includes an electrode disposed on a side toward which the first gasping jaw is closed, with respect to the lumen. The electrode has an electrode surface arranged opposite the second grasping jaw and extending from a proximal end portion to a distal end portion of the first grasping jaw. The first grasping jaw has a distal end wall disposed opposing from a distal end side of the first grasping jaw toward a distal end edge of the electrode surface, and a clearance between the distal end edge of the electrode surface and the distal end wall communicates to the lumen and opens toward the side toward which the first grasping jaw is closed.

High frequency treatment instrument

A fluid supply instrument for a treatment instrument that is mounted on a grasping section of the treatment instrument capable of grasping a living tissue includes a port configured to receive a fluid, and a cover continuous to the port and configured to be covering a back surface on an opposite side of a grasping surface of the grasping section that is capable of grasping a living tissue. The cover forms a fluid channel continuous from the port in cooperation with the grasping section, and allows the fluid received from the port to flow out from between a cover edge adjacent to the grasping surface and an edge portion of the grasping surface.

A tube configured to be mounted on an outer side of a shaft of a treatment instrument includes a tube main body, and a convex portion that is provided along a longitudinal axis of the tube main body and is protruded inwards in a radial direction of the tube main body with respect to an inner peripheral surface of the tube main body.

The vibration transmitting member provided with vibration from an ultrasonic transducer and including: a body having a distal portion with a surface and an opposite surface, the body further having a proximal portion; wherein: the body extending along a longitudinal axis extending from the proximal toward the distal portion, the surface opposes the clamp member and having a ridge extending along the longitudinal axis, the ridge extends toward the clamp member in a thickness direction more than other portions of the surface, the opposite surface opposes the surface and having a projection extending along the longitudinal axis, the projection protrudes more than other portions of the opposite surface in the thickness direction, and a maximum thickness of the distal portion is smaller than a maximum width of the distal portion in a width direction perpendicular to the thickness direction.

A surgical treatment device which is used together with an endoscope, includes a sheath, a treatment portion which is arranged at the distal end portion of the sheath and includes first to third electrodes configured to treat a living tissue by using electrical energy, an operation portion which is arranged at a proximal end portion of the sheath and which is configured to operate the treatment portion, and a switching portion which is configured to switch between a first mode in which a treatment is given by using the first electrode and at least one of the second and third electrodes in the treatment portion and a second mode in which a treatment is given by using the second and third electrodes.

Surgical treatment device

An endoscopic surgical instrument includes an insertion section which is inserted into a body cavity, and a surgical section which is disposed on a tip of the insertion section and treats an object. The surgical section includes a body section, and a first electrode, a second electrode, and a third electrode which are disposed on the body section. The surgical section coagulates and cuts the object by using a combination of not less than two of the first electrode, the second electrode, and the third electrode.

Endoscopic surgical instrument

A cutter for a blood vessel tissue harvesting instrument is disposed at the distal end of an insertion member. A cutter body projecting from the distal end of the insertion member includes a slit that extends from the distal end toward a base edge. High-frequency electrodes are disposed along the sides of the slit. A feeding mechanism has rotating surfaces which are rotated as a result of being pressed by the tissue, and which feed the tissue toward the base edge of the slit. The rotating surfaces are provided by two rotary members disposed opposite each other along the two side edges of the slit, respectively, so that the first and second rotating surfaces move in a direction from the opening of the slit toward the base edge of the slit.

Body tissue incision apparatus

A blunt dissector for separating a blood vessel from surrounding tissues in a body comprises a longitudinal rod having a proximal end, a distal end, and an internal passage for conducting insufflation gas between the proximal and distal ends. An interior sleeve is mounted within the longitudinal rod for receiving an endoscope at the proximal end. A transparent tip is mounted to the distal end of the longitudinal rod. A handle is mounted to the proximal end of the longitudinal rod. The longitudinal rod has an outer surface along substantially all of the longitudinal rod between the proximal and distal ends consisting essentially of a fluoropolymer.

Blunt dissector for separating blood vessels from surrounding tissue

A harvesting device for an endoscope includes a harvesting member inserted through an outer tube member, including a harvesting portion arranged at the distal end portion of the outer tube member and to perform a harvesting, and configured to move so that the harvesting member moves and positions the harvesting portion at a harvesting position and a standby position, a wipe member inserted through the outer tube member, including a wipe portion arranged at the distal end portion of the outer tube member, and configured to move so that the wipe member moves the wipe portion to wipe a distal end portion of the endoscope, and a conversion mechanism to convert the movement of the harvesting member into that of the wipe member to interlock the wiping of the wipe portion with the positioning of the harvesting portion.
