An assist device includes: a first brace configured to be worn on at least a waist of a user; an arm configured to extend along a thigh of the user and to rotate with respect to the first brace; an actuator configured to generate torque that rotates the arm; and a second brace provided on the arm and configured to be worn on the thigh. The arm includes an arm body and a holding portion. The holding portion is provided on the arm body such that the holding portion is movable in a longitudinal direction of the arm body. The holding portion holds the second brace such that the second brace is rotatable.

Assist device

A power assist suit includes a harness worn at least around hips of a wearer, an assist unit, a power unit, and a bearing roller. The assist unit includes an arm and a thigh-worn part. A rail is provided at a part of the arm in a longitudinal direction. The rail includes channel-shaped parts extending along the longitudinal direction. The thigh-worn part is connected to sliding movable parts or integrated with at least a portion of the sliding movable parts. The bearing roller is disposed between each of the channel-shaped parts in the rail and each of inner wall surfaces of the sliding movable parts facing the respective channel-shaped parts.

Motion assisting device

A steering system includes a rack shaft, a tubular rack housing, and a tubular rack bushing. The rack bushing is interposed between the outer surface of the rack shaft and the inner surface of the rack housing. The rack bushing supports the rack shaft such that the rack shaft is slidable in the axial direction. The rack housing includes an annular groove on its inner surface. The rack bushing includes a collar. a through slit. and first non-through slits. The collar protrudes radially outward from substantially the entire circumference of the rack bushing. The collar is fitted into the annular groove. The through slit passes through the rack bushing in the axial direction. Each first non-through slit extends in the axial direction such that the first non-through slit passes through a portion of the rack bushing whose axial position corresponds to the axial position of the collar.

Steering system

The steering apparatus includes a first seal member and a second seal member. The first seal member is fixed to one of an outer peripheral surface of a rack shaft and an inner peripheral surface of a housing. The first seal member slidably contacts with a cylindrical surface which is centered on the axis and is provided on the other of the outer peripheral surface of the rack shaft and the inner peripheral surface of the housing. The second seal member is fixed to the other of the outer peripheral surface and the inner peripheral surface. The second seal member slidably contacts with a cylindrical surface which is centered on the axis and is provided on the one of the outer peripheral surface of the rack shaft and the inner peripheral surface of the housing.

Steering apparatus

A damper valve includes a valve member for covering openings of communicating passages of a valve sleeve. The valve member is elastically deformed by a low flow rate of the hydraulic oil flowing from a second chamber to a first chamber of the valve sleeve and when a flow rate of the hydraulic oil flowing from the second chamber to the first chamber exceeds a predetermined value, the valve member is moved with the spool against urging force of a spring to widely open the openings of the communicating passages.

Damper valve and hydraulic power steering apparatus using the same

A positioning mechanism is provided for a moving member that moves linearly by the turning of a screw member driven by a stepping motor. A drive shaft driven to turn by the stepping motor is fitted, so that turning transmission is possible, into the screw member that screws into the moving member that is capable of moving linearly. A configuration prevents the moving member from turning together with the screw member when the screw member is turning. Origin positioning is performed, by using a stopper, by stopping the linear movement of moving member caused by driving the motor to turn in one direction. The moving member is positioned according to the turning steps of the motor in the other direction after the origin positioning. The drive shaft is fitted into the screw member via an elastic member interposed therebetween so that turning can be transmitted.
