A vehicle body front structure includes: a damper base to which a damper is fixed; a damper housing surrounding the damper base and extending downward along a periphery of the damper base; a front side frame extending in a vehicle front-rear direction and joined to a lower end portion of the damper housing, and a reinforcing member connecting the damper base to the front side frame in a vertical direction. The reinforcing member has a vertically elongated shape with a hat-shaped cross section and has a joint flange corresponding to a periphery portion of the cross section. The joint flange is joined to a side surface of the damper housing. The damper housing and the reinforcing member define a closed cross section whose cross-sectional area increases in a downward direction. The joint flange has an upper end portion joined to an upper surface of the damper base and has a lower end portion joined to an upper surface and a side surface of the front side frame.

Vehicle body front structure

A vehicle rear body structure includes a rear bulkhead that partitions a vehicle interior and a rear trunk and a damper base that is joined to the rear bulkhead through a wheel house. The damper base is joined to the wheel house, and thus a damper supporting portion is formed in a bag shape. The damper supporting portion is coupled to a rear frame through the rear bulkhead and is coupled to the rear frame through a house rear corner ridge. The house rear corner ridge and the rear bulkhead are formed in an inverted V-shape.

Vehicle rear body structure

A vehicle body front structure includes a corner reinforcement member () that connects a damper housing reinforcement member () and an upper dash panel reinforcement member (). The corner reinforcement member () is a member having a substantially L-shaped step section (), and has a first portion () facing the damper housing reinforcement member () in a vehicle body width direction and joined to the damper housing reinforcement member (), a second portion () extending from the first portion () toward an inner side of a vehicle body in the vehicle body width direction, a third portion () facing the upper dash panel reinforcement member () from below and joined to the upper dash panel reinforcement member (), and a fourth portion () extending downward from the third portion (). The first portion () and the third portion () are formed as a continuous surface. The second portion () and the fourth portion () are formed as a continuous surface. A bottom surface () of the step section () and the first portion () are formed as a continuous surface.

A body structure includes: a pair of side sills separated in the vehicle width direction; a front floor panel provided between the pair of side sills; a floor tunnel extending in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body at the center in the vehicle width direction of the pair of side sills, and bulging upward from the front floor panel; and a cross member extending in the vehicle width direction at a rear end portion of the floor tunnel, and is characterized in that: the cross member includes a vertical wall extending upward with respect to the front floor panel; and the vertical wall extends continuously in the vehicle width direction between the pair of side sills, is joined to the rear end portion of the floor tunnel, and closes an opening of the rear end portion.

Vehicle body structure

A structure for the front section of a vehicle body is provided with: a pair of left and right front side frames; a sub-frame which is disposed between the front side frames; a pair of left and right first mount members which are disposed below the front side frames; first affixation members which affix the first mount members to the lower sections of the front side frames; first support members which are provided within the front side frames and which support the first affixation members; and reinforcement members which reinforce damper housings. The reinforcement members are joined to the upper sections of the front side frames. The first support members are affixed to the inner surfaces of the front side frames at positions below the portions to which the reinforcement members are joined.

A floor structure of a vehicle body capable of enhancing rigidity against a external force from a side of the vehicle body includes a pair of right and left side sills, a pair of front and rear cross members provided between the pair of right and left side sills, and a floor panel surrounded by the pair of right and left side sills and the pair of front and rear cross members. The floor panel is provided thereover with beads in a concentric arc shape spreading from parts at which the side sills and the cross members are vertically joined to each other. Reinforcement members are provided at corners defined by the side sills and the cross members in such a manner that the reinforcement members are slantingly placed and joined to the side sills and cross members.
