A differential signal transmission cable includes: an insulating layer that extends along a longitudinal direction of the differential signal transmission cable; a pair of signal lines that extends along the longitudinal direction of the differential signal transmission cable and is buried in the insulating layer; and a shield that exists around an outer peripheral surface of the insulating layer.

Lithium ion secondary battery

A composite member excellent in corrosion resistance of a substrate and excellent in heat radiation property is provided. A composite member includes a substrate composed of a composite material containing magnesium or a magnesium alloy and SiC and a coating layer provided on a surface of the substrate. The coating layer includes an outermost layer provided as an outermost surface and an intermediate layer provided directly under the outermost layer. The outermost layer contains nickel and phosphorus. The intermediate layer is mainly composed of copper. The intermediate layer has a thickness not smaller than 30 μm.

Composite member and heat radiation member

An aluminum base wire includes a core wire made of pure aluminum or an aluminum alloy and a coating layer provided on an outer periphery of the core wire. The coating layer includes a first layer provided on the outer periphery of the core wire, a second layer provided on an outer periphery of the first layer, and a third layer provided on an outer periphery of the second layer. The first layer is composed of at least one metal selected from the group consisting of nickel, a nickel alloy, copper, and a copper alloy, the second layer is composed of metals that include zinc and tin, the third layer is composed of at least one metal selected from the group consisting of tin and tin alloys that contain substantially no zinc, and a zinc content in the second layer is 15 atomic % or more and 60 atomic % or less.

Aluminum base wire

A composite member includes: a substrate formed of a composite material containing a plurality of diamond grains and a metal phase; and a coating layer made of metal. The surface of the substrate includes a surface of the metal phase, and a protrusion formed of a part of at least one diamond grain of the diamond grains and protruding from the surface of the metal phase. In a plan view, the coating layer includes a metal coating portion, and a grain coating portion. A ratio of a thickness of the grain coating portion to a thickness of the metal coating portion is equal to or less than 0.80. The coating layer has a surface roughness as an arithmetic mean roughness Ra of less than 2.0 &#x3bc;m.

Composite member

An aluminum base wire includes a core wire composed of pure aluminum or an aluminum alloy; a plurality of coating pieces provided so as to be scattered on an outer periphery of the core wire; and a coating layer provided on the outer periphery of the core wire and an outer periphery of each of the plurality of coating pieces. The coating layer includes a first layer that is provided continuously on the outer periphery of the core wire between adjacent coating pieces and the outer periphery of each of the plurality of coating pieces, and a second layer provided on an outer periphery of the first layer. The plurality of coating pieces are each composed of copper or a copper alloy, the first layer is composed of metals that include copper and tin, and the second layer is composed of tin or a tin alloy.

Aluminum base wire, stranded wire, and method for manufacturing aluminum base wire

A heat transfer device includes a bag and a working fluid. The bag includes a first sheet and a second sheet with edges that are sealed together. The working fluid is enclosed in the bag. The working fluid changes a phase thereof between gas and liquid. The bag includes a vaporizing portion in which the liquid-phase working fluid is vaporized and a condensing portion in which the gas-phase working fluid is condensed. The bag includes a two-phase flow channel in which liquid-gas two-phase slug flow including the liquid-phase working fluid and the gas-phase working fluid occurs from the vaporizing portion to the condensing portion. The two-phase flow channel is provided in an internal space of the bag.

An electrical contact material that includes a base material made of metal, a metal layer provided on a surface of the base material, and an oxide layer provided on a surface of the metal layer. The metal layer is made of metal that contains zinc, copper, and tin, the oxide layer is made of an oxide that contains zinc, copper, and tin, and beneath the oxide layer, a ratio of the atomic concentration of copper to the atomic concentration of tin is less than 1.4.

A wire material for a canted coil spring includes a core wire composed of a steel having a pearlite structure, a copper plating layer covering the outer peripheral surface of the core wire, the copper plating layer being composed of copper or a copper alloy, and a hard layer disposed adjacent to the outer periphery of the copper plating layer, the hard layer having a higher hardness than the copper plating layer. The steel constituting the core wire contains 0.5% or more by mass and 1.0% or less by mass carbon, 0.1% or more by mass and 2.5% or less by mass silicon, and 0.3% or more by mass and 0.9% or less by mass manganese, the balance being iron and unavoidable impurities.
