In a drive controller for a vehicle including: a drive source configured to output a drive force to a first axle serving as one of front and rear wheel axles; an electric motor configured to output a drive force to a second axle serving as the other of the front and rear wheel axles; a one-way power transmission device disposed on a power transmission pathway between the second axle and the electric motor so as to transmit a power drive force from the electric motor to the second axle; a two-way power transmission device that transmits a rotation power from the second axle to the electric motor or transmits the power drive force and a regeneration drive force from the electric motor to the second axle, the drive controller includes: a first detector that detects a speed of the vehicle or a rotation speed of the second axle; a target rotation speed determination section that determines a target rotation speed of the electric motor based on the speed of the vehicle or the rotation speed of the second axle; a second detector that detects a rotation speed of the electric motor; and a controller that controls the electric motor such that the rotation speed of the electric motor is synchronized with the target rotation speed and that controls an output torque of the electric motor or an activation of the two-way power transmission device, when the electric motor starts power drive or regeneration drive while the vehicle is traveling by the drive force from the drive source.

Drive controller for vehicle

A rear-wheel drive system includes motors for generating driving force to drive a vehicle, hydraulic brakes on power transmission lines between the motors and rear wheels switching a motors side and a wheels side to a connected state or a disconnected state, an ECU controlling the motors and the brakes and a one-way clutch in parallel with the hydraulic brakes on the transmission line configured to be engaged when a forward rotational power on the motors side is inputted into the wheels side and disengaged when a backward rotational power on the motors side is inputted into the wheels side and vice versa. The ECU causes the hydraulic brakes to be applied so as to put the motors side and the wheels side in the connected state when the forward rotational power on the motors side is inputted into the wheels side.

Vehicle drive system

A rear wheel driving apparatus includes: a left wheel driving device having a motor for driving a left rear wheel, and a planetary gear decelerator; a right wheel driving device having a motor for driving a right rear wheel, and a planetary gear decelerator; and a control device for controlling the motors. The motors are connected to sun gears of the planetary gear decelerators, respectively, the left rear wheel and right rear wheel are connected to the planetary carriers, respectively, and the ring gears are connected to each other. The control device performs driving control on only one of the motors to control the rotations of ring gears.

Vehicle driving apparatus

A vehicle includes a first drive device and a second drive device. The first drive device includes a motor, a motor control device, a connection-disconnection device, and a connection-disconnection device controller. When the vehicle is driven in a state where a driving force of the first drive device is substantially zero, or the vehicle is driven only by a driving force of the second drive device, the connection-disconnection device controller couples the connection-disconnection device to establish a connected state of the connection-disconnection device. The motor control device is configured to perform loss reduction control on the motor to reduce at least one of a loss of the motor and a loss in a power transmission path in power transmitted to the first driving wheel, by establishing the connected state of the connection-disconnection device.

An electric oil pump control system for a hybrid vehicle which has an engine and a first electric motor as driving sources; a hydraulic automatic transmission connected between the engine and drive wheels of the vehicle; an electric oil pump for generating an oil pressure necessary for performing gear change of the transmission. The hybrid vehicle can run by at least one of the engine and the first electric motor in accordance with a driving state of the vehicle. The control system has a control device for driving the electric oil pump so as to generate an oil pressure supplied to the hydraulic automatic transmission, wherein the control device drives the electric oil pump when the hybrid vehicle runs with the engine and the electric oil pump which are stopped, in accordance with a predetermined condition by which it is determined that the electric oil pump should be driven.

A control apparatus for a hybrid vehicle includes: a drive mode determination device that determines one drive mode from a plurality of drive modes based on a status of the vehicle, wherein the drive modes include: an engine stop motor drive mode in which the vehicle is driven by a driving force from a motor while stopping an engine; an idle cylinder deactivation motor drive mode in which the vehicle is driven by the driving force from the motor by operating a power generator as an electric motor by running the engine while maintaining the engine deactivated; and an engine drive mode in which the vehicle is driven by a driving force from the engine; and a transition rate modification device that, when it is determined by the drive mode determination device that a mode transition from a current drive mode to another drive mode should take place, modifies a transition rate for transitioning from the current drive mode to the another drive mode according to the drive mode to be transitioned.

Control apparatus for hybrid vehicle

A regeneration control system which permits highly efficient regeneration while a vehicle is traveling stably, and also permits regeneration to be performed without interfering with a smooth behavior correction made by a driver when the behavior of the vehicle has been disturbed. The regeneration control system includes a total regeneration amount determiner for determining the total regeneration amount of a first electric motor connected to front wheels and a second electric motor connected to rear wheels, a regeneration amount allocation determiner for determining regeneration amount allocation to each electric motor, a determination value calculator for calculating a determination value based on a steering angle and a yaw rate, and a determiner for determining whether a determination value lies within a predetermined range.

An automatic transmission controller for a hybrid vehicle of the present invention is used for the hybrid vehicle being a four-wheel drive vehicle and including an engine and a generator motor on a front wheel side of the hybrid vehicle and a traction motor on a rear wheel side of the hybrid vehicle. The automatic transmission controller for a hybrid vehicle includes: an automatic transmission for transmitting a driving force from the engine to an output shaft of the hybrid vehicle; and an oil pump for supplying a speed-shifting clutch of the automatic transmission with pre-pressure to eliminate play of the speed-shifting clutch, when the hybrid vehicle is driven by a driving force from the traction motor.

Control device for controlling front and rear wheel drive vehicle

A driving force control system for a front-and-rear wheel drive vehicle, which is capable of charging a battery based on a traveling condition of the vehicle. The front-and-rear wheel drive vehicle is driven while switching between a drive mode for driving front wheels by an engine and driving rear wheels by a motor, and a recharge mode for recovering running energy of the vehicle and charging the battery with the recovered running energy. Parameters (accelerator pedal opening &THgr;AP and a vehicle speed Vcar, or drive wheel speeds of the respective front and rear wheels) indicative of a driving condition of the vehicle are detected. A traveling condition of the vehicle is determined based on the parameters. Driving force control system for front-and-rear wheel drive vehicles

A four-wheel drive vehicle is provided in which the main driven wheels are driven by an engine via a torque converter and the auxiliary driven wheels are driven by an electric motor. The response of the vehicle to the operation of the accelerator is improved by suppressing in advance the slip of the main driven wheels due to an excess output of the engine. The main driven wheels are driven by an engine via a torque converter and auxiliary driven wheels are driven by an electric motor. The vehicle is started by the output of the electric motor in the region in which the speed ratio of the torque converter is small (that is to say, the region in which the efficiency is low) such as when the vehicle is starting, and when it enters the region in which the speed ratio of the torque converter exceeds 0.8 and the efficiency exceeds 85% the drive of the electric motor is stopped or suspended and the vehicle is made to travel by means of the output of the engine.

Driving force control system for four-wheel drive vehicles

A system for controlling motive force of a vehicle having an engine and a continuously variable automatic transmission connected to the engine to transmit engine torque to a drive shaft of the vehicle. In the system, a desired motive force is calculated or determined from the detected accelerator (pedal) position and vehicle speed, and based on the determined motive force a desired engine speed, more specifically a drive shaft speed of the transmission, is calculated or determined. Then inertia torque acting on the vehicle is calculated or determined based on at least the determined speed and detected speed, and a desired throttle opening is corrected by the determined inertia torque when the vehicle accelerates or decelerates. With the arrangement, the vehicle response delay due to the inertia torque is adjusted and hence, drivability and fuel economy performance are enhanced.
