An explosion-proof porcelain housing for use in a gas-filled insulating apparatus, comprising a porcelain housing body, and a first and second films. The first film is made of a first insulating material having low hardness and high elasticity, and is bonded to an inner surface of the porcelain housing body. The second film is made of a second insulating material having high hardness and high mechanical strength, and is bonded to an inner surface of the first film. A process for producing such an explosion-proof porcelain housing is also disclosed.

Explosion-proof porcelain housings for gas-filled insulating apparatuses

An explosion-proof porcelain housing for a gas-filled insulating apparatus includes a hollow porcelain housing body having a tapered inner surface, and a resin lined on the inner surface of the porcelain housing body. The thickness of the resin lining decreases along the tapered inner surface.

In a method of lining resins on an inner surface of a porcelain housing, the porcelain housing having a tapered shape is rotated about a rotation axis in such a manner that the rotation axis of a side having a larger inner diameter is inclined upward with respect to a horizontal line, and an inclination angle and/or a rotation number are controlled in accordance with an inner diameter of the porcelain housing corresponding to a nozzle position, and resins are sprayed or flowed on the inner surface of the porcelain housing from a nozzle during rotations of the porcelain housing.

Method of lining resins on an inner surface of a tapered porcelain

The disclosed anticorrosive insulator has an insulator body with a shed radially extending from a central core thereof and a metal cap cemented to the core of the insulator body so as to cover the core. A gap of 2-10 mm is provided between the lower end of the metal cap and the upper surface of the shed. A recess may be formed on the lower end of the cementing agent layer between the metal cap and the core of the insulator body, which recess extends away from the upper surface of the shed.

Anticorrosive insulator

The disclosed insulator has an insulating member with a cylindrical core, a metal cap with a central hole of inside diameter D so that the core of the member is cemented to the central hole of the metal cap, and a metal pin cemented to the inside of the core of the member. The metal pin has a cemented rod portion with a diameter d.sub.1 and a large-diameter portion with an outside diameter d.sub.2 at an end buried in the core of the member. Suspension insulator

An electrolytic corrosion resistant insulator includes an insulator body having a cavity therein and a metallic pin having a portion located within the cavity and secured therein by cement. A sacrificial anode surrounds the pin at an intermediate portion thereof and protrudes radially from the pin. Part of the sacrificial anode is covered by the cement. An electric insulating film of a synthetic resin is lamination-attached to the pin and covers substantially the entire outer surface of the portion of the pin which is secured within the cavity by the cement. The electric insulating film also covers approximately half of the upper portion of the sacrificial anode. The electric insulating film is free from pin holes and has a thickness between 200 and 600 micrometers.
