An oxygen measurement device includes a catheter including a flexible hollow shaft, the flexible shaft having an open port configured to allow urine from a bladder to flow into the open port, and a urinary passage in communication with the open port configured to discharge the urine; and an oxygen sensor including an oxygen sensor main body capable of detecting oxygen in the urine, the oxygen sensor being disposed in the catheter and configured such that the oxygen sensor main body is in contact with the urine flowing in the urinary passage.

The hub support portion includes a rotation blocking portion that is engaged with the first engagement portion to block the hub portion from rotating with respect to the hub support portion, a movement blocking portion that is engaged with the second engagement portion to block movement of the hub portion with respect to the hub support portion in an axial direction, and a releasing portion that releases a state in which a rotation of the hub portion is blocked while maintaining a state in which movement of the hub portion is blocked.

A video-signal processing device is connectable to an electronic endoscope for feeding at least one kind of electric analog video signal from the electronic endoscope to a peripheral equipment. An electronic endoscope has a video-scope having an image sensor and a video-processor. The video-scope is connected to the video-processor, to which a computer system, having a display unit and a digital recorder, is connected. The image-pixel signals corresponding to an object image, formed on the image sensor, are read from the image sensor and processed to obtain digital video signals. The digital video signals are generated in accordance with a square-pixel frequency, which is a sampling frequency for the computer system. The digital video signals are fed to the computer system to display the object image on the display unit, and/or record the object image in the digital recorder.

Electronic endoscope

A light source device comprises an aperture mechanism having a pair of aperture blades in an optical path formed between a light source and an incident end surface of a light guide on which an illuminating light is made incident. The first and second aperture blades are rotated, in a plane perpendicular to the optical axis of the optical path, about a movable shaft, which is parallel to the optical axis. The first and second aperture blades shade the luminous flux of the illuminating light, to adjust the amount of illuminating light, from the outer peripheries of the section of the luminous flux. A protruding plate is formed on an inside periphery of the first aperture blade. When the first aperture blade closes a half of the section, the protruding plate shades a swinging region above the center of the section of the luminous flux.
