An object is to avoid generation of a collision sound of a second vane of a compression system comprising a multicylinder rotary compressor being configured to be used by switching of a first operation mode in which both rotary compression elements perform a compression work and a the second operation mode in which the only first rotary compression element substantially performs the compression work. When the second operation mode is switched to the first operation mode, discharge-side pressures of both the rotary compression elements are applied as a back pressure of the second vane, and thereafter an intermediate pressure is applied which is between suction-side and discharge-side pressures of both the rotary compression elements. When the first operation mode is switched to the second operation mode, a valve device interrupts flowing of a refrigerant into a second cylinder, and thereafter suction-side pressures of both the rotary compression elements are applied as the back pressure of the second vane.

Compression system, multicylinder rotary compressor, and refrigeration apparatus using the same

A compressor includes two rotary compressing elements in a vessel. One of the compressing elements operates while the other element is in a non-operating mode. In the non-operating mode, inflow of refrigerant gas into the cylinder of the rotary compressing element is blocked and a suction side pressure of the rotary compressing element is applied as a back pressure to a vane. A compressing system includes the compressor and a controller and operates in first and second operation modes. In the first operation mode, refrigerant gas flows into a cylinder and an intermediate pressure, a result of flow of the refrigerant gas from between a vane and a guide groove into a back pressure portion, between a suction side pressure and a discharge side pressure, is applied as a back pressure to bias the vane against a roller.

Multicylinder rotary compressor and compressing system and refrigerating unit provided with same

A compressor having a compression member whose upper surface crosses an axial direction of a rotary shaft and is inclined continuously between a top dead center and a bottom dead center and which is disposed in a cylinder to be rotated by a rotary shaft and which compresses a fluid sucked from a suction port to discharge the fluid via a discharge port; a vane disposed between the suction port and the discharge port abuts on the upper surface of the compression member and partitions a compression space in the cylinder into a low pressure chamber and a high pressure chamber; the upper surface of the compression member has a flat surface centering on an intermediate point between the top dead center and the bottom dead center and curved surfaces gradually approaching the top dead center and the bottom dead center continuously from the flat surface.

Compression member and vane of a compressor

Previous compressors have employed compressors to compress and circulate refrigerant through a circuit, and have been unable to combine the differing advantages of rotary compressors, scroll compressors and screw compressors. The present invention combines these advantages, as well as inhibiting refrigerant leakage and improving overall performance, by particularly fixing the position of the compression member of the compression element relative to the driving element. The driving element is stored in a sealed container of the compressor. The compression element includes a cylinder having suction and discharge ports and a compression member which compresses a fluid (refrigerant) sucked from the suction port to discharge the fluid via the discharge port; and a vane partitioning the compression space in the cylinder into a low pressure chamber and a high pressure chamber.

Compressor having back pressure vane controlled for improving oil distribution

A compressor having a driving element stored in a sealed container of the compressor, and a compression element driven by a rotary shaft of the driving element. The compression element has a cylinder in which a compression space is constituted; a suction port and a discharge port which communicate with the compression space in the cylinder; a compression member whose one surface crosses an axial direction of the rotary shaft and is inclined continuously between a top dead center and a bottom dead center and which is rotatably disposed in the cylinder; and a vane which is disposed between the suction port and the discharge port to abut on an upper surface as one surface of the compression member and which partitions the compression space in the cylinder into a low pressure chamber and a high pressure chamber. One surface of the compression member is disposed on a side opposite to the driving element.

Compressor having pressure controlled for improving oil distribution

There is provided an efficient compressor which is simple in structure and small in torque fluctuation. The compressor comprises a compression element which comprises a cylinder having a compression space formed therein, a suction port and a discharge port which communicate with the compression space in the cylinder, a compression member which comprises continuous thick and thin parts, one surface of which inclines, which is arranged in the cylinder to rotate, and which compresses fluids sucked through the suction port and discharges the compressed fluids through the discharge port, and a vane which is arranged between the suction port and the discharge port to abut on one surface of the compression member, and which partitions the compression space of the cylinder into a low pressure chamber and a high pressure chamber.
