Problem: To realize a connection with a counterpart connector with high spacing efficiency, and to stably maintain an electrically connected state while having a compact and low profile and without the terminal being deformed or damaged, even when subjected to a force from a counterpart terminal when mated with the counterpart terminal, which increases reliability. Solution: The terminal includes a substrate fixing partfixed to a substrate, a pair of contact parts which sandwich a counterpart terminal, and an elastic deformation part having both ends connected to the substrate fixing partand the contact parts, respectively, wherein a spring constant of the elastic deformation part is smaller than a spring constant of the contact parts.

Highly reliable terminal and connector with a compact low profile

A card holding member is provided for holding a card with terminal members and insertion into a card connector. The holding member comprises a frame portion containing a front frame portion in front of the holding member in the insertion direction and side frame portions connected on both ends to the front frame. The frame portion includes a metal portion composed of a metal panel. The front end surface of a front metal frame of the metal portion is exposed on the front end surface of the front frame. The front metal frame includes a subsiding portion. The front surface of the subsiding portion is flush with the front end surface of the front metal frame and includes a section displaced from the front end surface in the thickness direction of the front frame.

Card holding member and card connector

A card holding member able to be inserted into a card connector via an insertion slot in an outer member and able to hold a card equipped with terminal members, the card holding member comprising a card accommodating portion able to accommodate the card, a connecting base portion connected to the card accommodating portion, a movable sleeve mounted on the connecting base portion slidably in the insertion and ejection directions of the card holding member, a first sealing member forming a seal between the connecting base portion and the movable sleeve, and a second sealing member forming a seal between the insertion slot and the movable sleeve. The use of the two sealing members helps to absorb displacement of the card holding member in case of misalignment between the card connector and the insertion slot.

The second housing has a side panel extending in the mating direction and at least three second connector lock portions protruding from the outer surface of the side panel, the second connectors each being arranged in the transverse direction of the second housing and separated by an interval, and the first housing has a side panel extending in the mounting direction, a locking arm portion formed in the side panel and covering at least a portion of the outer surface of the side panel of the second housing when the first housing and the second housing are mated, and at least three first connector locking portions each formed in the locking arm portion in the transverse direction of the first housing and separated by an interval, and each engaging a second connector locking portion when the first housing and the second housing are mated.

Wire-to-board connector assembly

A card holding member is able to be inserted into a card connector via a sealing portion of an outer member and able to hold a card. The holding member includes a card holding frame portion, a connecting base portion, and a movable connecting portion. The frame portion opposing side surfaces of the card. The base portion integrally connects to the frame portion. The movable portion mounts on the base portion in the insertion/ejection direction of the holding member. The base portion includes a first sealed portion which engages a first sealing portion of the sealing portion and formed on the outer peripheral surface of the base portion. The movable portion includes a pressure receiving portion which engages a pressure imparting portion of the sealing portion. The movable portion is biased towards the insertion direction and positioned relative to the outer member when the receiving portion engages the imparting portion.

Card holding member and card connector set

The card holding member is able to hold a card including terminal members and is able to be inserted into a card connector, and comprises a frame portion opposing the side surfaces of the card, and a movable lock portion arranged in the frame portion which is able to engage and disengage from a lock portion of the card connector, the movable lock portion being a spring member made of a metal plate and including at least one corner portion, and the movable lock portion also being elastically deformable in the width direction of the card holding member.

A card holding member is able to hold a cardwith terminal members and able to be inserted into a card connector. Here, the card holding member includes a frame portionfacing a side surfaceof the card, and a movable lock portion provided on the frame portionwhich is able to engage and disengage a lock portion of the card connector. The movable lock portion is disengaged from the lock portion by an auxiliary portion which activates the ejection mechanism for ejecting the card holding member from the card connector.

A card holding member includes: a front frame portion and a rear frame portion extending in the transverse direction, and side frame portions connecting both ends of the front frame portion and both ends of the rear frame portion, the side surfaces of a card including terminal members arranged on a terminal accommodating surface being surrounded thereby; and a metal portion and a resin portion, at least a portion of the metal portion being exposed at the front end of the front frame portion.

Card holding member and card connector, which prevents short-circuits, prevents damage and wear, enables easier handling, and improves reliability

A card holding member is provided which is able to hold a card having terminal members and which is able to be inserted into a card connector. The card holding member includes a frame portion, side frame portions, and a movable lock portion. The frame portion includes a front frame portion positioned forward in the insertion direction of the card holding member into the card connector. The side frame portions are connected at both ends to the front frame portion. The movable lock portion is positioned on a side frame portion and is able to engage and disengage from a lock portion on the card connector. The movable lock portion receives force from the lock portion of the card connector forward in the insertion direction when engaging the lock portion of the card connector.

A card holding member is provided which is able to hold a card having terminal members and is able to be inserted into a card connector. The card holding member includes a card holding frame portion facing the side surfaces of the card, and a first portion including a first connecting portion. The card holding member further includes a main body portion, and a second portion including a second connecting portion connected to the first connecting portion. The card holding member further includes a first elastic member mounted on the outer periphery of the main body portion. The card holding member further includes a second elastic member mounted between the first connecting portion and the second connecting portion.

The card holding member is able to hold a card having terminal members and is able to be inserted into a card connector, and includes a frame portion opposing the side surfaces of the card. The frame portion includes a first metal portion composed of a metal plate, a second metal portion composed of a metal plate being a separate component from the first metal portion, and a resin portion surrounding and covering at least a portion of the first metal portion and the second metal portion.

A planar optical waveguide part that includes an optical waveguide, a planar conductive wire part that includes a conductive wire, and a connecting end part formed on the lengthwise direction end part, wherein the connecting end part is provided with an optical waveguide end part formed on the lengthwise direction end part of the conductive wire part, a conductive end part formed on the lengthwise direction end part of the conductive wire part, and an intermediate plate intervening between the optical waveguide end part and the conductive end part; the optical waveguide end part, conductive end part, and intermediate plate are bonded by layering; and a bonding pad where components are bonded is formed by ultrasonic bonding to the top surface of the conductive end part.

An optical connector is disclosed. The optical connector includes a cable having formed therein an optical waveguide, a plug having the cable connected thereto, and a connector housing configured to mount thereon the plug. The cable is provided with a cable-side guide portion. The plug is provided with a plug housing which has a plug-side guide portion and is attached to the cable. The connector housing is provided with a connector-side guide portion. The plug-side guide portion is configured to be engaged with the cable-side guide portion to achieve a positioning of the cable and the plug housing and be engaged with the connector-side guide portion to achieve a positioning of the connector housing and the plug.
