[Problem] An object of the present invention is to provide a foam including a thermoplastic resin and rubber as a main component, in which a micronized product of a cellulose fiber is uniformly dispersed, and uniformity and mechanical properties are excellent. [Solution] A foam includes a modified cellulose fiber (A) covalently bonded with a diene-based polymer, a thermoplastic resin and/or rubber (B), and a diene-based polymer (C) having a functional group capable of covalently bonding with a cellulose fiber, in which the fiber (A) is micronized, the fiber (A) has a content of 0.05 to 20% by mass, and the thermoplastic resin and/or rubber (B) has a glass transition point of −130° C. to 120° C.

Foam and method for producing same

The present invention provides a method for producing a resin composition, which, by means of simple steps, can uniformly disperse microfibrillated plant fiber in a highly hydrophobic resin and can impart enhanced mechanical strength to a molding material obtained by molding the resin composition. The present invention further provides a resin composition having excellent heat resistance and low linear thermal expansion. Method for producing resin composition comprising modified microfibrillated plant fibers, and same resin composition

The present invention relates to anionically modified microfibrillated plant fibers used for obtaining a thermosetting resin molding material having excellent mechanical strength, a method for manufacturing the same, a molding material containing the anionically modified microfibrillated plant fibers and a thermosetting resin, and a method for manufacturing the same. Specifically, the present invention provides a molding material containing anionically modified microfibrillated plant fibers that are anionically modified in the presence of a base by a carboxylic acid represented by formula (I): X&#x2014;(CH)&#x2014;COOH (I), wherein X represents halogen and n is 1 or 2, and/or by a salt thereof, and a thermosetting resin, and the molding material contains the anionically modified microfibrillated plant fibers in an amount of 10 to 900 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the thermosetting resin.

Molding material and manufacturing method therefor

The present invention relates to modified cellulose nanofibers obtained by neutralizing cationic groups of cationic cellulose nanofibers with an anionic additives. Moreover, the present invention relates to a resin composition containing the aforementioned modified cellulose nanofibers and a molding resin, and to a molded body obtained by molding the resin composition.
