A vehicle notification apparatus includes an output unit, a riding detector, a driver detector, and a controller. The output unit is configured to output a leaving notification that provides notification of leaving behind of a passenger, etc. The riding detector is configured to detect passenger vehicle entering, passenger vehicle exiting, etc. The driver detector is configured to detect vehicle traveling stop operation, vehicle traveling start operation, driver vehicle entering operation, and driver vehicle exiting operation. The controller is configured to cause output of the leaving notification on a condition that the passenger vehicle entering, etc. has been detected when the vehicle traveling stop operation, the driver vehicle exiting operation, or both are detected, and also to cause the output of the leaving notification each time the vehicle traveling stop operation, the driver vehicle exiting operation, or both are detected, until the passenger vehicle exiting, etc. is detected.

An external airbag includes: a lower edge bag that is deployed to extend along a lower edge of a windshield of an automobile, on a front side of the windshield; lateral edge bags in a pair that are deployed to extend along both lateral edges of the windshield, on the front side of the windshield; and an upper edge bag that is deployed to extend along an upper edge of the windshield, on the front side of the windshield.

A gap adjustment method of an ink jet device includes a head unit with an ink discharge port that discharges ink, a carriage that is provided with the head unit and moves in a main scanning direction, a print medium provided with a gap with respect to the ink discharge port, and a gap driving unit that adjusts a length of the gap. The gap adjustment method includes a discharging process (step ST) and a gap adjusting process (step STto step ST). In the discharging process (step ST), ink is discharged in each of a forward path and a backward path while reciprocating the carriage in the main scanning direction. In the gap adjusting process, a forward path landing position and a backward path landing position, and an optimum landing position determined in advance are compared, and the length of the gap is adjusted with the gap driving unit.

Ink jet printer, print object retaining member, and print method

A printer that restarts printing from a desired print position after an emergency stop is provided. A printer according to the present disclosure includes a head printing on a work, a driving motor moving at least one of the head and the work in order to change a print position on the work, a rotary encoder and an encoder counter determining a position of the head relative to the work, a control device supplying electric power to the encoder after excitation of the driving motor is turned off during printing and enabling the encoder counter to continue counting.
