A display device includes a circuit substrate including a first pixel and a second pixel, a first LED chip overlapping a first anode pad and a first cathode pad in the first pixel, and a second LED chip overlapping a second anode pad and a second cathode pad in the second pixel. The first pixel includes a first light transmission region overlapping the first LED chip, and is between the first anode pad and the first cathode pad. The second pixel includes a second light transmission region overlapping the second LED chip, and is between the second anode pad and the second cathode pad. In a plan view of the circuit substrate, a first area (S) of the first light transmission region and a second area (S) of the second light transmission region have a first ratio that is represented by S:S=1:0.8 to 1.2.

Display device

According to one embodiment, a display device includes pixels each including transistors, pixel electrodes, a contact electrode, and light emitting elements, and an insulating basement, a first organic insulating layer, a second organic insulating layer, a resin layer, a common electrode, and first wiring lines. The common electrode is electrically connected to cathodes of the light emitting elements, and electrically connected to the contact electrodes of the pixels. The first wiring lines, each provided between the first organic insulating layer and the second organic insulating layer or between the second organic insulating layer and the resin layer, are electrically connected to the contact electrodes of the pixels, and are formed of a metal.

A display device includes a substrate, a first light-emitting diode (LED) element and a second LED element provided to the substrate and configured to output light, a first signal line provided between the first LED element and the second LED element and electrically coupled to the first LED element, a second signal line provided between the first LED element and the second LED element and electrically coupled to the second LED element, gate wiring intersecting the first signal line and the second signal line, and anode wiring overlapping the gate wiring and electrically coupled to the first LED element and the second LED element. The anode wiring extends parallel to the gate wiring.

A display device includes a plurality of light-emitting elements arrayed in a display region, a first pixel circuit and a second pixel circuit coupled to each of the light-emitting elements, a first drive transistor provided to the first pixel circuit and configured to supply a first drive current to the light-emitting element, a second drive transistor provided to the second pixel circuit and configured to supply a second drive current to the light-emitting element, a drive circuit configured to supply a video signal to the first drive transistor and the second drive transistor, a first coupling switching transistor provided between the first drive transistor and the light-emitting element, and a second coupling switching transistor provided between the second drive transistor and the light-emitting element. The first coupling switching transistor and the second coupling switching transistor are turned off in a non-emission period of the light-emitting element.

A display device includes a display portion mounted with a first LED and a second LED are mounted, a pixel circuit portion provided with a first pixel-circuit thin film transistor electrically connected to the first LED and a second pixel-circuit thin film transistor electrically connected to the second LED, a drive circuit portion provided with a drive-circuit thin film transistor, and a shielding layer provided between the display portion and the drive circuit portion. A fixed potential is applied to the shielding layer. The second LED overlaps the drive circuit portion with the shielding layer therebetween.

An LED module includes a first electrode and a second electrode disposed on the substrate, an LED chip disposed on the first electrode and the second electrode, and a first bump between the LED chip and the first electrode, and a second bump between the LED chip and the second electrode. The LED chip includes a cathode electrode facing the first electrode, an anode electrode facing the second electrode, and a step portion between the cathode electrode and the anode electrode, a distance between the first electrode and the cathode electrode is larger than a distance between the second electrode and the anode electrode, and the first bump is disposed to embed the step portion.

A display device includes a circuit substrate comprising a first electrode pad and an LED chip comprising a first electrode bump that is electrically connected to the first electrode pad, and at least emitting light in a direction of the circuit substrate. A method for repairing a display device, the display device comprising: a plurality of inorganic light emitters arrayed in a matrix (row-column configuration); and a counter electrode provided in a traveling direction of light emitted from the inorganic light emitters and coupled to the inorganic light emitters, the method comprising steps of: detecting a defective inorganic light emitter serving as one of the inorganic light emitters and having a defect; and removing a target portion of the counter electrode by irradiating the target portion with light while leaving the defective inorganic light emitter unremoved, the target portion including a portion between a portion coupled to the defective inorganic light emitter and a portion coupled to an inorganic light emitter adjacently disposed with the defective inorganic light emitter.

According to one embodiment, a display device includes a display panel including a display area for displaying an image, and the display panel includes an insulating substrate, a first electrode, a first organic insulating layer, an inorganic insulating layer, a pixel electrode, a second organic insulating layer, and a pad portion. The inorganic insulating layer includes a first opening for electrically connecting the first electrode to the pixel electrode. The second organic insulating layer includes a second opening for electrically connecting the pixel electrode to the pad portion. The pixel electrode is formed of a transparent conductive material.

A performance of a display apparatus is improved. A display apparatus has a display region, a transparent region and a frame region. The display apparatus includes a plurality of scan signal lines extending in an X direction in the display region and a plurality of image signal lines extending in a Y direction in the display region. The plurality of image signal lines include a first wiring (image signal line) and a second wiring (image signal line). The first wiring includes a first bypass wiring portion arranged in the frame region and a first extension wiring portion connected to an end of the first bypass wiring portion and extending in the Y direction. The second wiring includes a second bypass wiring portion arranged in the frame region and a second extension wiring portion connected to an end of the second bypass wiring portion and extending in the Y direction. In a plan view, the first wiring and the second wiring intersect with each other at the frame region.

Display apparatus

A display device includes a plurality of divided pixels each comprising a reflective electrode, a counter electrode provided so as to face the reflective electrode, a color filter provided on a side of the counter electrode opposite to a side of the counter electrode facing the reflective electrode, and a holding unit configured to hold a potential corresponding to an expression of a gradation; and an inorganic light emitter provided on the counter electrode side of the color filter, and configured to emit light.
