A mist blower in one aspect of the present disclosure includes an air blower, an air feed pipe, a tank, a liquid feed pipe, a nozzle, a first electromagnetic valve, a controller, and a first manual switch. The first electromagnetic valve (i) opens the liquid feed pipe in response to the first electromagnetic valve being activated and (ii) closes the liquid feed pipe in response to the first electromagnetic valve being deactivated. The controller activates or deactivates the air blower and the first electromagnetic valve. The first manual switch (i) is manually moved by a user of the mist blower and (ii) commands the controller to activate or deactivate the air blower based on a movement of the first manual switch.

An electric powered work machine in one aspect of the present disclosure includes a motor, a current-carrying path, a switching circuit, a circuit board, a metal case, and a heat radiation sheet. The circuit board includes a first surface, a second surface, a first hole group, a board conductive line, and a circuit arrangement area.

A battery pack is configured to supply electric power to an electric work machine, such as a power tool or outdoor power equipment. The battery pack includes a first battery-signal terminal and a second battery-signal terminal. The first battery-signal terminal outputs, to the electric work machine, a first signal indicating that discharging is to be prohibited or permitted. The second battery-signal terminal outputs, to the electric work machine, a second signal indicating that discharging is to be prohibited or permitted. Thus, two communication paths are provided for transmitting signals to permit or prohibit discharging of the battery pack.

The motor stop operation includes disabling a permission to drive the motor by the control circuit to stop the motor in response to the state information indicating that the motor should be stopped. An electric work machine includes a motor, a manipulator, a first switch, a second switch, and a control circuit. The manipulator is on-operated or off-operated by a user of the electric work machine. Each of the first switch and the second switch is turned on or off in response to the manipulator being on-operated or off-operated. The control circuit executes a motor control process in accordance with a computer program. The control circuit receives first switch information from the first switch, and receives second switch information from the second switch. The motor control process outputs a drive command for driving the motor in response to the first switch information and the second switch information indicating that the manipulator is on-operated.

An electric working machine in one aspect of the present disclosure includes a driving device, a controller, a control power source, and an operation state determiner. The control power source includes a first converter and a second converter. The control power source transitions to a first conversion state when the operation state determiner determines that the controller is in a control operation state. The control power source in the first conversion state supplies a first control current to the controller. The control power source transitions to a second conversion state when the operation state determiner determines that the controller is in a low power operation state. The control power source in the second conversion state (i) stops operation of the first converter, and (ii) supplies a second control current to the controller.

An electric working machine includes: a motor; a semiconductor element that is provided in a current path to the motor and completes or interrupts the current path; a circuit board on which the semiconductor element is mounted, a control circuit that turns on and off the semiconductor element to control energization to the motor being assembled to the circuit board; and a heat sink for dissipating heat from the semiconductor element. The semiconductor element is attached to the heat sink via a metal-based board.

The control circuit executes the first diagnosis or the second diagnosis at a first diagnosis timing. The control circuit executes the first diagnosis or the second diagnosis at a second diagnosis timing. The second diagnosis timing follows the first diagnosis timing.

A voltage supplier in one aspect of the present disclosure includes a first voltage generator, a second voltage generator, a first switcher, a second switcher, a first booster, and a second booster. The first booster boosts a voltage lower than a first switching drive voltage to thereby generate the first switching drive voltage, and supplies the first switching drive voltage to the first switcher on a first supply path. The second booster boosts a voltage lower than a second switching drive voltage to thereby generate the second switching drive voltage, and supplies the second switching drive voltage to the second switcher on a second supply path.

An electric working machine of an example of the present disclosure includes: a motor; a power supply portion; a controller; and a voltage detector. The power supply portion generates a DC voltage to drive the motor by rectifying an AC voltage supplied from an AC power source and smoothing by a capacitor. The controller controls energization of the motor. The voltage detector detects the AC voltage. The controller is configured to interrupt the energization when the voltage detector does not detect the AC voltage.

An electric working machine comprises a motor, a switch, a drive device, a brake device, and a failure determiner. The switch is configured for operation by a user, has an on-state and an off-state. The drive device is configured to drive the motor in response to the switch being placed in the on-state. The brake device is configured to control deceleration of the motor to a stopped state in response to the switch being placed in the off-state. The failure determiner is configured to monitor deceleration of the motor during controlled deceleration and to determine whether the brake device has failed based on the monitored deceleration.
