An inspection apparatus of an embodiment includes a rotor image-pickup unit for picking up an image of a rotor using a rotor image-pickup device in the air gap between the rotor and a stator. The rotor image-pickup device includes: a carriage casing; a camera; an image-pickup position changing part; and an image-pickup direction changing part. The camera is installed in the carriage casing, and picks up an image of a ventilation hole of the rotor in the air gap. The image-pickup position changing part is installed in the carriage casing, and changes an image-pickup position of the camera by moving the carriage casing in a circumferential direction of the rotor in the air gap. The image-pickup direction changing part is installed in the carriage casing, and changes an image-pickup direction of the camera to an inclined angle to a radial direction of the rotor in the air gap.

Inspection apparatus and inspection system

According to an embodiment, an inspection device comprises a moving body that includes; a moving main body which moves in contact with a first structure; arms attached to the moving main body; an arm driver to drive the arms; and a detector attached to the moving main body or the arms to inspect the second structure. The arms each can selectively take a pressed position and a detached position. When the moving body is moved, at least one of the arms are in the pressed position and pressed to the second structure, and the moving body is supported by the first and second structures.

According to an embodiment, an inspection system comprises: a moving body including a moving main body movable along a structure; a detector attached to the moving main body; a shape information storage unit for storing shape information indicating shape and size of the structure; an inspection location information storage unit for storing information of inspection locations to be inspected; an inspection item information storage unit for storing information of inspection items to be inspected; a moving body location detecting unit for detecting moving body location information indicating location of the moving body; a moving control unit for controlling movement of the moving body; and an inspection control unit for inspection.

According to one embodiment, a robot device includes a robot and a station part. The robot is inserted into a gap between an outer peripheral surface of a first part of a first member and a second member surrounding the outer peripheral surface. The first member includes the first part and a second part. A step is formed between the first part and the second part. The station part includes an elevating mechanism. The elevating mechanism lowers the robot onto the outer peripheral surface of the first member on a lower stage side of the step, and raises the robot from the outer peripheral surface.

Provided are a steel having excellent rolling contact fatigue life and the manufacturing method thereof. The steel consists essentially of 0.7 to 1.1% C, 0.2 to 2.0% Si, 0.4 to 2.5% Mn, 1.6 to 4.0% Cr, 0.1% or more and less than 0.5% Mo, 0.010 to 0.050% Al, bymass, and balance of Fe and inevitable impurities, is treated by quenching and tempering, has residual cementite grain sizes ranging from 0.05 to 1.5 &#x3bc;m, and has prior-austenite grain sizes of 30 &#x3bc;m or smaller. When the steel is used to bearing steel, the bearing life extends even under service in more severe environments.

Steel material with excellent rolling fatigue life and method of producing the same

We provide a steel product that includes, by mass %, C: 0.35-0.7%, Si: 0.30-1.1%, Mn: 0.2-2.0%, Al: 0.005-0.25%, Ti: 0.005-0.1%, Mo: 0.05-0.6%, B: 0.0003-0.006%, S: 0.06% or less, P: 0.02% or less, Cr: 0.2% or less, and the balance Fe and inevitable impurities, and has a structure of bainite and/or martensite, the total volume fraction of bainite and martensite being 10% or more, and an induction hardened member that is made of the steel product having a hardened surface layer formed by induction hardening and has a prior austenite grain size of 12 &#x3bc;m or less through the layer thickness. The member has high fatigue strength and therefore is suitable for an automobile drive shaft, an automobile constant velocity joint or the like.

Steel product for induction hardening, induction-hardened member using the same, and methods producing them

A case hardening bearing steel having an excellent rolling contact fatigue life in intermediate temperature, in addition, excellent toughness at room temperature is provided. Specific means for solving the problems are as follows. The composition contains, by mass percent, C of 0.15 to 0.30 mass percent, Si of 0.5 to 2.0 mass percent, Mn of 0.3 to 2.0 mass percent, Cr of 1.3 to 2.5 mass percent, Mo of 0.3 to 1.0 mass percent, and O of not more than 0.0012 mass percent in a range where (Si+Mo)&#x2267;1.0 mass percent is satisfied, and contains iron and inevitable impurities as remnant; the maximum size of oxide nonmetallic inclusion is not more than 12.5 &#x3bc;m when examined area is 320 mm; number of the oxide nonmetallic inclusion having a diameter of equivalent circle of 3 &#x3bc;m or more is not more than 250 when the examined area is 320 mm; in addition, C density of an outer layer is adjusted to be in a range from 0.7 to 1.2 mass percent by carburization.

Case hardening bearing steel having excellent toughness and rolling contact fatigue life in intermediate temperature

A long-life bearing steel for general purpose use is provided at low cost with no use of specific secondary refining process. Specifically, a bearing material having a component composition in which C: 0.95 to 1.10 mass %, Si: 0.15 to 0.70 mass %, Mn: 1.15 mass % or less, Cr: 0.90 to 1.60 mass %, and P: 0.025 mass % or less are contained, S and O, that are elements forming nonmetallic inclusions, are contained at S: 0.025 mass % or less and O: 0.0012 mass % or less, and the rest is composed of Fe and incidental impurities, wherein the maximum diameter of the oxide-based nonmetallic inclusion is more than 10 &#x3bc;m, but 15 &#x3bc;m or less in an inspection area: 320 mm, the number of oxide-based nonmetallic inclusions having an equivalent circle diameter of 3 &#x3bc;m or more is 250 or less in the inspection area: 320 mm, while in the material, AlN is contained at 0.020 mass % or less, and or the number of sulfide-based nonmetallic inclusions having a thickness of 1 &#x3bc;m or more is 1,200 or less in the inspection area: 320 mm.

Electromagnetic steel sheets which contain Cr in an amount of from about 1.5 to 20% by weight and Si in an amount of from about 2.5 to 10% by weight, while having a total amount of C and N of not larger than about 100 ppm by weight, and which has a specific resistivity of not smaller than about 60 &mgr;&OHgr;&middot;cm.

Electromagnetic steel sheet having excellent high-frequency magnetic properties

A magnetic steel sheet used for an alternating current core, and having excellent magnetic properties in both a rolling direction, and the direction perpendicular thereto, and a method of producing the magnetic steel sheet. The magnetic steel sheet in a recrystallized cold-rolled condition is characterized in that the intensity ratio of &lcub;100&rcub;<001> orientation to random orientation is 2.0 or more, the intensity ratio of &lcub;011&rcub;<100> orientation to random orientation thereof is 2.0 to 10.0, and the intensity ratio of <001>//ND orientation to random orientation is preferably 2.0 or less. The method of producing a magnetic steel sheet includes hot-rolling a silicon steel slab so that the intensity ratio of (015)&lsqb;100&rsqb; orientation to random orientation of the recrystallized hot-rolled sheet is 3.0 or more.
