A ship steering device includes a handle which is mechanically separated from a rudder mechanism, a steering angle detecting unit that detects a steering angle of the handle, a reaction force motor that generates reaction force torque to be applied to the handle, and a reaction force controller that controls, based on a steering characteristics map, the reaction force motor in such a way that the reaction force torque in accordance with the steering angle is obtained. The steering characteristics map has characteristics in such a way that the amount of change in an aiming steering torque relative to the steering angle is smaller in a second steering range where the steering angle is larger than that in a first steering range than the first steering region where the steering angle is set in advance from zero.

Ship steering device

A ship steering device includes a handle which is mechanically separated from a rudder mechanism, a steering angle detecting unit that detects a steering angle of the handle, a rudder motor that drives the rudder mechanism, and a turn controller that controls, based on a steering characteristics map which associates a basic relation between the steering angle and a turn angle, the rudder motor so as to obtain the turn angle in accordance with the steering angle. The steering characteristics map has a characteristic such that, in a second steering region where the steering angle is larger than the steering angle in a first steering region, a change amount of the turn angle relative to the steering angle is large with respect to the first steering region where the steering angle is set from zero in advance.

A reaction force generating device for a steering device includes a steering shaft connected to a steering member on which a steering operation is to be performed by a driver, a direct drive motor connected to the steering shaft and configured to generate reaction torque, an electromagnetic brake configured to generate friction torque and including a first friction portion configured to integrally rotate with the steering shaft, a second friction portion provided to face the first friction portion and to be non-rotatable, and an electromagnetic unit configured to press the second friction portion against the first friction portion.

Reaction force generating device and steering device

A steering device includes: an electric motor configured to apply a driving force to cause a wheel of a vehicle to roll; a transmission unit configured to transmit the driving force of the electric motor to the wheel; an input determination unitconfigured to determine whether an excessive external force equal to or greater than a predetermined force is input, or likely to be input, to the transmission unit via the wheel while the electric motor is applying the driving force; and a final target current setting unitconfigured to, in response to the input determination unitdetermining that the excessive force is input, or likely to be input, to the transmission unit, reduce the driving force of the electric motor so that a load on the transmission unit does not exceed an upper limit that is preset according to strength of the transmission unit.

Steering device

A joint structure includes first and second engagement members, and an elastic member. The first engagement member includes a first body and a first engagement claw. The second engagement member includes a second body and a second engagement claw. The elastic member is disposed between the first and second engagement portions in a circumferential direction. When a relative rotation angle between the first and second engagement members is less than a predetermined angle, the first and second engagement claws are not in direct contact with each other in the circumferential direction, and a rotational force is transmitted through the elastic member while the elastic member is being elastically deformed. When the relative rotation angle is equal to the predetermined angle, the first and second engagement claws are in direct contact with each other in the circumferential direction.

Joint structure and power steering device

A reaction force actuator to be used in a steer-by-wire steering device includes an operating-side shaft, a motor, and a friction drive transmission. The operating-side shaft rotates integrally with an operating member that a driver operates. The motor includes a cylindrical motor output shaft disposed coaxially on an outer circumference of the operating-side shaft. The friction drive transmission changes a speed of a rotary motion of the motor output shaft and transmits the rotary motion to the operating-side shaft.

Reaction force actuator and steering device

A steering apparatus includes a steering column rotating integrally with a steering wheel, a bracket supporting the steering column via a bearing in such a manner that the steering column is rotatable, and a fixation piece fixed to a vehicle body, where the bracket includes a locking hole, and during a normal state, the fixation piece is locked on a lower surface of an edge portion enclosing the locking hole thereby locking the bracket to the fixation piece, the bracket includes a pair of guided portions extending from opposing side portions of the locking hole toward the steering wheel, and during a secondary collision, the bracket moves forward to detach the fixation piece from the locking hole, and then, the fixation piece is locked on lower surfaces of the pair of guided portions, while guiding the pair of guided portions in the axial direction.

Steering apparatus

In a feeder line drawing structure of a motor for a ship propeller, a guide portion detachably retaining a feeder line drawn out from a grommet in a drawing direction is provided in a lower end side of a housing in accordance with an integral molding, a bracket connected to a lower end of a housing formed as a close-top tube shape.
