A vehicle front body structure includes a front side frame extending forward from a dashboard separating a cabin and an engine compartment, an apron reinforcement extending in a front-rear direction, a suspension housing, a braking force booster between this suspension housing and the dashboard, and a coupling member coupled to the front side frame and the apron reinforcement. The coupling member is formed of a material with higher tensile strength than the suspension housing. The coupling member includes a body section fixed to a rear surface of the suspension housing, and a wall section bent from a lower end of this body section and extending rearward.

A vehicle body structure in a vehicle rear portion includes a first rear lateral ring-shaped vehicle body framework (RWC) extending in a vehicle lateral direction in a vehicle body rear portion (R) from vicinities of a pair of left and right damper support portions () supporting suspension dampers () and disposed in rear wheelhouses () at vehicle rear of side door openings (Es) of the vehicle. The vehicle body structure also includes coupling members () coupling longitudinal ring-shaped vehicle body frameworks (SLC) each having a substantially ring shape in a vehicle longitudinal direction to the first rear lateral ring-shaped vehicle body framework (RWC).

A side frame comprises a center pillar which includes a reinforcement provided on an outward side in a vehicle width direction and an inner panel provided on an inward side in the vehicle width direction. The reinforcement comprises upper-and-lower hinge attachment sections for attaching rear-door hinges and first-and-second recessed beads for promoting bending of the center pillar in a vehicle side collision. The hinge attachment sections are provided to be spaced apart from each other in a vertical direction. The first recessed bead is provided at a higher level than the lower hinge attachment section. The second recessed bead is provided at a lower level than the lower hinge attachment section and configured to be bent before the first recessed bead in the vehicle side collision.

A deflector comprises a protrusion portion which protrudes downward, including a slant face portion slanting obliquely rearward and downward, and a vertical wall portion which is provided in back of the protrusion portion to extend in a vehicle width direction. A lower end portion of the vertical wall portion is positioned at a lower level than a rear end portion of the slant face portion. The lower end portion of part of the vertical wall portion located inward from the other part of the vertical wall portion located so as to overlap the front wheel in a front view is positioned at a higher level than the lower end portion of the other part of the vertical wall portion located so as to overlap the front wheel in the front view.

A reinforcement is configured to have a corner portion corresponding to a corner portion of a side sill inner. Herein, the corner portion of the reinforcement forms a reinforcement ridgeline extending in a vehicle longitudinal direction. The reinforcement is provided such that the reinforcement ridgeline and a side-sill-inner upper ridgeline formed at a corner portion of the side sill inner overlap with each other over a range from a specified area where a wheel outward displaced in a vehicle collision is capable of contacting a side sill to a connection portion where a cross member connects to the side sill inner.
