A vehicular vibration damping control apparatus calculates a correction torque to suppress vehicle body sprung vibration. In outputting a correction torque command to a driving/braking torque producing device, the control apparatus outputs a hunting time correction torque command smaller than a normal time correction toque command when a state in which amplitude of the correction torque is greater than or equal to a predetermined amplitude continues for a predetermined time length, and thereafter to return an output of the correction torque command from the hunting time correction torque command to the normal time correction torque command if a state in which the amplitude of the correction torque is smaller than or equal to the predetermined amplitude continues for a first predetermined time length. The frequency of performing the vibration damping control is increased by suppressing occurrence of hunting at the time of return to the normal vibration damping control.

Vibration-damping control device for vehicle

Predetermined weights are assigned, in accordance with a traveling state, to a first correction toque to suppress a sprung vibration of the vehicle in accordance with a wheel speed, and a second correction toque to suppress the sprung vibration of the vehicle in accordance with a driving/braking torque. With this configuration, it becomes possible to calculate the vibration suppressing torque corresponding to the traveling state.

Vibration-restraining control apparatus for vehicle

A correction torque command is outputted to a driving/braking torque producing means in accordance with a correction torque to suppress vehicle body spring vibration. When a state of the correction torque amplitude being greater than a predetermined amplitude continues for a given predetermined time, a control apparatus outputs a hunting time correction torque command smaller than a normal time correction toque command. When a state of the correction torque amplitude being smaller than or equal to the predetermined amplitude continues for a first predetermined time, the control apparatus returns the output of correction torque command from the hunting time correction torque command to the normal time correction torque command. The control apparatus continues the output of the hunting time correction torque command if the state in which the correction torque amplitude exceeds the predetermined amplitude continues for the given predetermined time, before the expiration of the first time period.

Vehicle damping control device

A brake control apparatus is configured to suppress sounds while a vehicle is stationary. The brake control apparatus basically has a brake operation detecting section, a vehicle state detecting section, a braking force generating section, a braking force adjusting section and a brake control section. The brake operation detecting section detects a brake operation value indicative of an operation of a brake element. The vehicle state detecting section detects whether a vehicle is in a stopped state. The braking force generating section generates a braking force. The braking force adjusting section adjusts the braking force generated in the braking force generating section based on the brake operation value. The brake control section then control the braking force to prohibit reduction in the braking force when the brake operation value decreases while the vehicle is in the stopped state.

Brake control apparatus

A vehicle braking apparatus is provided with a brake operating element that is operated by a driver, and an actuator that generates a braking force in accordance with a braking operation of the brake operating element. A controller is operatively arranged to control the actuator such that an increase in a rate of change of the braking force with respect to the braking operation by the driver is suppressed upon determining that vehicle cabin background noise is equal to or below a prescribed threshold value.

Vehicle braking apparatus

A regenerative braking coordination device has a braking operating member receiving an input from a driver in the form of an operation amount, an input shaft operable for transmitting the operation amount, and a braking force boosting device operable to generate a hydraulic braking pressure corresponding to the operation amount transmitted by the input shaft. The device further includes a hydraulic pressure braking device to generate a braking force and an operation amount absorber for absorbing the operation amount of the input shaft. The operation amount absorber includes a cylinder, a piston dividing the interior of the cylinder into first and second hydraulic chambers and an orifice connecting the first and second hydraulic chambers. The orifice can be in the piston or in a flow channel.

Regenerative braking coordination device

In a vehicle dynamics control (VDC) system for a four-wheel-drive vehicle employing a brake control system regulating braking forces applied to road wheels independently of each other and a differential mechanism controlling a differential motion between front and rear wheel axles, a VDC controller controls a braking force of each road wheel depending on whether the vehicle is in oversteering or understeering. The VDC controller includes a braking-force compensation section that compensates for a braking force of at least one of a first wheel, which is subjected to vehicle dynamics control, and a second wheel to which a transferred braking force is transferred from the first wheel through the differential mechanism, to reduce a braking force of the second wheel and to prevent the braking force of the second wheel from exceeding a lateral grip limit of the second wheel during the vehicle dynamics control.
