In a multicylinder internal combustion engine including a turbocharger, the turbocharger employs a twin-entry turbo where a turbine includes two exhaust gas inflow ports. A first exhaust passage guides an exhaust gas discharged from a first cylinder group of the internal combustion engine to one exhaust gas inflow port of the turbocharger. A second exhaust passage guides an exhaust gas discharged from a second cylinder group of the internal combustion engine to the other exhaust gas inflow port of the turbocharger. An exhaust gas collecting portion of the first exhaust passage and an exhaust gas collecting portion of the second exhaust passage each include an air-fuel ratio sensor. This configuration allows efficiently contact of the exhaust gas on an element portion of the air-fuel ratio sensor, thus accurately detecting an air-fuel ratio of the exhaust gas at an upstream side of a catalyst for each cylinder.

A cylinder head () includes a water jacket () formed around an ignition plug mounting hole (). Upper surfaces (to) of portions of the water jacket () between intake ports () and the ignition plug mounting hole () and between exhaust ports () and the ignition plug mounting hole () are set to be lower than upper surfaces (to) of the remaining portions of the water jacket () around the ignition plug mounting hole () to increase the rigidity. Thereby, deformation of the cylinder head () due to cylinder internal pressure is limited, and the stress concentration around the ignition plug mounting hole () due to such deformation is reduced.

A method for manufacturing a vehicle wheel is suggested in which the vehicle wheel can provide function and effect of preventing molding defects during molding of an outer rim portion and/or an inner rim portion having sound absorbing spacesand of reducing acoustic cavity noise that occurs in a tire-internal space by use of the sound absorbing spaces. After a separation groove having a curved shape groove bottom surfaceis formed between a ring-shaped wall portion and partition wall portions, the ring-shaped wall portion is bent toward a flange portion, and the ring-shaped wall portion and the flange portion are welded together. The sound absorbing spaces which communicate with each other via communication gaps defined according to the separation groove are thereby formed in the outer rim portion and/or the inner rim portion. In such a method, since the communication gaps can be stably formed, an increase in internal pressure caused by heat expansion of air in the sound absorbing spaces during a heat treatment step can be reduced, thus allowing prevention of molding defects due to the increase in the internal pressure.

An image reading device capable of correctly reading an image on a document is provided without the need to increase the size of an upper cover, etc. of the device. A CIS (Contact Image Sensor) is supported by holders and support shafts to be movable toward the upper cover (rib) and is biased toward the rib by compression springs. In this configuration, the rib for holding the document is not required to be installed as a movable component and there is no need to provide a space for allowing the rib to move or providing the upper cover with a mechanism for allowing the rib to move, which can avoid the need to increase the size of the upper cover.

A sheet supplying device for an imaging apparatus is provided with a sheet tray configured to mount a plurality of sheets in a stacked state. The sheet tray is inclined such that leading ends of the plurality of sheets are lower than trailing ends thereof. Further provided is a feed roller that faces an uppermost sheet of the plurality of sheets mounted on the sheet tray to be press-contacted thereto. The feed roller is driven to rotate to feed the uppermost sheet. Further provided is a sheet guide mechanism having at least one guiding section provided in front of the feed roller. The guiding section is inclined such that the leading ends of the plurality of sheets are moved toward the feed roller by their own weight. The guiding section is configured such that the degree of inclination of the guiding section varies depending on the amount of the plurality of sheets.

A rubber key device is provide with a key top member, multiple rubber keys, a click feel generating mechanism and a load transmitting mechanism. When a depression area of the key top member is depressed by a user, the key top member is rotated to depress a top face of a rubber key via the load transmitting mechanism. The load transmitting mechanism transmits the load caused by the depression of the depression area to the top face of the corresponding rubber key such that the load is transmitted to only a substantially central portion of the top face of the corresponding one of the multiple rubber keys regardless of the depression amount of the depression area.
