A particle dispersion supply apparatus includes a roller, an ejection device and a particle dispersion permeation member. The roller rotates in a prescribed direction and touches an image formation face of a recording medium being conveyed by a conveyance body. The ejection device is disposed to oppose the roller at a roller rotation direction upstream side relative to the position at which the roller touches the image formation face of the recording medium, and ejects a particle dispersion in which numerous particles are dispersed in a liquid. The particle dispersion permeation member is disposed so as to be interposed between the ejection device and the roller and so as to contact the roller. The particle dispersion permeation member retains the particle dispersion and the particle dispersion can permeate therethrough.

A method for assembling a laser apparatus which condenses a laser beam and couples the laser beam to an optical fiber. After the optical fiber is fixed to a package, the whole or a part of an optical condensing system is fixed to the package through a fixing structure having at least one guide surface extending in at least one of first and second directions respectively parallel and perpendicular to the core axis of the optical fiber, by moving the whole or the part of the optical condensing system along the at least one guide surface to a predetermined position with respect to the core axis, and fixing the whole or the part of the optical condensing system to the fixing structure at the predetermined position.

Laser apparatus and methods for assembling and installing the same

An image forming apparatus which can efficiently perform image forming processing to a recording medium and achieve improvement in production efficiency. In the image forming apparatus in which the recording medium is loaded onto a stage member at a loading position, the image is formed in the recording medium while the stage member passes through an image forming unit, and the recording medium in which the image has been formed is unloaded from the stage member at an unloading position, two stage members are provided. The image forming apparatus includes upper and lower circulating means in which one of the two stage members is moved below the image forming unit from the unloading position to the loading position while the other stage member passes through the image forming unit with the recording medium loaded thereon.

Plate positioning and processing method and apparatus are disclosed. A plate is conveyed in a predetermined first direction so that the plate is in contact with a pair of first positioning pins. The plate is laterally moved contacting with the first positioning pins until reference positions displaced from contacting positions of the plate with the first positioning pins contact with the first positioning pins. A predetermined first processing is applied to the plate. The plate subjected to the first processing is conveyed in a predetermined second direction so that the plate is in contact with a pair of second positioning pins in positions different from the reference positions of front edge of the plate. The plate contacting with the second positioning pins is laterally moved until the same positions as the reference positions contact with the second positioning pins.

Plate positioning and processing method and plate positioning and processing apparatus

A sheet member positioning device includes a plate on which a sheet member is loaded; a reference member provided at a side, in a first direction, of the plate, the sheet member being able to abut the reference member; a conveying member provided at a side, in a second direction, of the plate, and due to the conveying member being moved toward the side in the first direction and conveying the sheet member, the conveying member makes the sheet member abut the reference member so as to determine a position of the sheet member in the first direction; and a detecting mechanism which, at a time when the position of the sheet member in the first direction is determined, detects a distance between the reference member and the conveying member, and detects a size of the sheet member on the basis of the detected distance.

Sheet member positioning device

A perforation and image exposure system comprises an image exposure apparatus and a punch unit. The image exposure apparatus has a first reference pin for defining a lateral position of a plate through contacting with one side edge of the plate contacting a pair of first positioning pins, and image exposure means for exposing the image into the plate subjected to positioning by the pair of first positioning pins and the first reference pin. The punch unit has a second reference pin for defining a lateral position of the plate through contacting with one side edge of the plate contacting a pair of second positioning pins, and perforation means for forming punched holes for positioning on the plate subjected to positioning by the pair of second positioning pins and the second reference pin. The image exposure apparatus and the punch unit keep relative positions of three pins of the pair of first positioning pins and the first reference pin and relative positions of three pins of the pair of second positioning pins and the second reference pin at same positions.

Perforation and image exposure system

A device for positioning a sheet-shaped material by providing a plurality of pairs of pins on a conveying path. Printing plate precursors are classified, on the basis of widths thereof, into large-sized and small-sized. Two pairs of positioning pins are provided for each size, and are disposed so as to be offset in a direction of conveying a printing plate precursor toward a rotating drum. A width of a small-sized printing plate precursor is smaller than a pitch dimension of a pair of positioning pins for large-sized printing plate precursors. Therefore, the small-sized printing plate precursor abuts and is positioned by positioning pins for small-sized printing plate precursors which are provided further ahead. Moreover, a large-sized printing plate precursor directly abuts and is positioned by the positioning pins for large-sized printing plate precursors, so as not to be interfered with by the positioning pins for small-sized printing plate precursors.

An image exposure apparatus has a rotating drum for winding a printing plate on which an image is recorded; a punch unit for forming punched holes to be used for positioning in printing processing on the printing plate; a conveying guide unit having a guide section that selectively moves to a first position facing the punch unit and a second position facing the rotating drum to guide a printing plate to the selected position so as to supply the printing plate; a width direction moving unit for moving in a width direction while a conveying pin is in contact with a width direction edge of the printing plate that is put on the conveying guide unit; a reference pin moving unit having a reference pin disposed at an opposite side of the width direction moving unit for defining the width direction edge of the printing plate, the reference pin moving unit moving the reference pin in accordance with a size of the printing plate; and a home position sensor mounted on a fixing portion independently of the conveying guide unit for detecting a home position of the reference pin.

Image exposure apparatus

A rotating drum in which, when the rotating drum is rotated at high speed, there is no offset between divisional drum parts, there is little imbalance, and a moment of inertia for rotation is small. A drum main body is divided into four drum parts whose cross-sectional configurations orthogonal to an axis are fan-shaped. Female projecting portions and male projecting portions are formed at a pitch dimension having a predetermined fit-together tolerance. Thus, the drum parts can be assembled together with a certain amount of leeway at a time of assembly. After the four drum parts have been assembled together, wires are press-fit in from an end surface side of the drum main body so as to tightly fasten the drum parts. Because the assembled drum main body defines configurations of the drum parts to have point symmetry, imbalance can be made small.

Rotating drum and image recording device

An image exposure apparatus has a width direction moving unit including: a moving member moved by a driving motor in the width direction of the printing plate; a pressurizing unit for enabling the conveying pin supported by the moving member in a direction of the printing plate; a plurality of pin position detecting sensors for detecting a moving position of the conveying pin wherein the moving member moves forward in the direction of the printing plate and the conveying pin is moved by coming into contact with the width direction edge of the printing plate; and a control unit having an input unit for entering a sort of the printing plate. The control unit stops the driving motor in accordance with a detection signal from the pin position detection sensor associated with the sort of the printing plate entered through the input unit of the pin position detecting sensors.

In the heat developing apparatus to heat the heat developing sheet A on which the latent image by the exposure is formed, to the developing temperature through the preliminary heating means I, the rotating body pairs are arranged so that the preliminary developing means I has a plurality of rotating body pairs - - , which nip the heat developing sheet A and heat to the developing temperature and convey it, and by at least one pair of rotating body pair in the plurality of rotating body pairs, the conveying direction of the heat developing sheet is changed.

In a thermal developing method for continuously and thermally developing thermal developing sheets which have a latent image formed thereon by exposure and various sizes, a minimum temperature recovery time required for thermally developing a next thermal developing sheet is determined from physical information about a thermally developed sheet, and the next thermal developing sheet is started to be developed after the minimum temperature recovery time passes.

Thermal development system and apparatus

In an automatic printing plate exposure device, when temporarily positioning a printing plate, a position of the printing plate in a temporary direction is determined by the printing plate abutting a pair of positioning pins. When actually positioning the printing plate in an exposure section, a position of the printing plate in an actual direction is determined by the printing plate abutting a pair of positioning pins. An angle of inclination in the temporary direction with respect to a front is set smaller than an angle of inclination in the actual direction. When positioning the printing plate, a position at which the printing plate abuts the pair of positioning pins and a reference pin, and a position at which the printing plate abuts the pair of positioning pins and the reference pin at a time of positioning in the exposure section, substantially coincide.

There are provided a solution applying portion disposed opposite to the outer surface of the recording rotational drum such that sliding on the outer surface of the drum is permitted and arranged to apply cleaning solution to the outer surface of the drum; and a scraping portion disposed at a position more forward than the solution applying portion in a direction in which the drum is rotated such that sliding on the outer surface of the drum is permitted and arranged to scrape the applied cleaning solution off the outer surface of the drum so that dust X is removed from the surface of the drum.

A thermal development sheet cooling method including a first cooling step of employing, at a temperature lower than a development temperature, a rotary member pair to sandwich and feed a thermal development sheet to suppress further development progression; a second cooling step of feeding the thermal development sheet in a non-contact state a predetermined distance through the air at a temperature lower than the temperature of the rotary member pair, thereby cooling the thermal development sheet while the inherent weight thereof induces curling; and a third cooling step of feeding the declined thermal development sheet while in contact with a guide member, and of cooling the thermal development sheet to a temperature equal to or lower than a softening point temperature of a sheet support member, while correcting the curled shape of the sheet.
