The rear chassis houses the light source, the rear chassis including an outer peripheral portion with a flat component that extends outward relative to a center of the display device and a bent part that extends rearward from an outer edge of the flat component. The frame member is fastened to the bent part of the rear chassis with a fastening member.

The supporting unit has a first protruding portion that contacts with a first area of a rear facing surface of the reflection sheet, a second protruding portion that contacts with a second area of the rear facing surface, a third protruding portion that contacts with a third area of the rear facing surface and a fourth protruding portion that contacts with a fourth area of the rear facing surface. The first, second, third and fourth areas are spaced apart from a center portion of the reflection sheet. The first and second areas are spaced apart from each other in a first direction. The third and fourth areas are spaced apart from each other in a second direction that is perpendicular to the first direction.

A display device includes a display, at least one light source unit, a housing and a reflective sheet. The at least one light source unit has a light source, a diffusing lens that covers the light source, and a substrate to which the light source is mounted. The housing includes an inner surface to which the at least one light source unit is attached. The reflective sheet has a plurality of holes corresponding to the light sources, the reflective sheet being disposed between the substrate and the diffusing lens.

A display device includes a display panel, a light source disposed on a rear side relative to the display panel, an optical member disposed on the rear side relative to the display panel, a light source housing component housing the light source, and first and second flat components extending in an outward direction relative to an opening edge of the light source housing component, the first and second flat components being substantially parallel to a rear face of the display panel, the second flat component being disposed closer to the display panel than the first flat component, the second flat component supporting the optical member.

Display device with slimmer border portion

A display device includes a display, a light source, a substrate, and a housing. The light source is mounted to the substrate. The housing includes a back panel with a surface to which the substrate is attached. The back panel has a recess and a positioning portion. The recess is at least partially disposed in the surface and is recessed with respect to the surface. The positioning portion holds the substrate relative to the housing and is disposed spaced apart from the recess in the surface.

A display device comprises a light source, an optical member, a display panel, and a frame. The frame supports the display panel. The frame has a first protruding portion that contacts with an area of a rear facing surface of the optical member within a predetermined distance from a center portion of the optical member. The first protruding portion has an overall rectangular shape with a step part at at least one corner of the overall rectangular shape.

A display includes a display panel, a board mounting portion, and a circuit board arranged at one surface of the board mounting portion. The display panel also includes a cover portion positioned only at a portion of the one surface of the board mounting portion. The portion includes a region in which the circuit board is arranged. The cover portion includes a bottom surface portion and a first side surface portion that extends from the bottom surface portion toward the one surface of the board mounting portion. The first side surface portion includes a first opening portion.

An electrical device includes a rear chassis, a fastening member, and an attachment member. The rear chassis has a through-hole. The fastening member is disposed inside the rear chassis. The fastening member has a threaded hole. The attachment member retains the fastening member relative to the rear chassis. The attachment member has a first engaging part that engages with an internal portion of the rear chassis. The screw extends through the through-hole of the rear chassis and screwed into the threaded hole of the fastening member for attaching a wall-mount fixture to an external portion of the rear chassis.
