The constant voltage DC supply device for supplying a direct current at a predetermined voltage from a specific power generation unit, including: a plurality of power storage units; a drive unitsthat is connected to the power storage units and rotating/driving by power supplied from any one of the power storage units; a plurality of the power generation unitsconnected to the drive units, respectively, and generating power by driving of the drive units; and a control unitfor controlling connection between the plurality of power storage units and the driving unit and between the power generation units other than the specific power generation unitand the power storage units, in which wherein the control unit executes control such that, when a voltage of the power storage unit supplying the power to the drive unit falls to a first voltage or less, the power is supplied from the power storage unit other than power storage part and to charge at least one power storage part other than that power storage unit is charged.

Constant voltage DC supply device

A gas generator, including an igniter, a gas generating agent ignited by the igniter and generating gas by burning, and a holder and an AC cup forming therein a gas generating agent storage chamber filled with the gas generating agent. A housing formed of the holder and the AC cup is vertically held and fixed by a pair of plate-like members arranged parallel with each other. The gas generator also includes projections forming deformable areas which are deformed in a direction for decreasing the vertical outside dimensions of the gas generator when the housing is fixed by the pair of plate-like members. Thus, when the gas generator is fixed by the pair of plate-like members in the vertical direction, the dispersion of the outside dimensions of the gas generator can be absorbed.

The present invention provides a gas generating agent for an air bag including a fuel component of nitrogenous organic compound and an oxidizing agent as its major components, to which at least one metal nitride or metal carbide that is allowed to react with a metallic component contained in the fuel component or the oxidizing agent to form slag is added, thus providing the effects of: solving the slag collecting problem which stands in the way of commercially practicing the nitrogenous organic compound base fuels; promoting the size reduction of the gas generator through the full use of high rate of gasification of the nitrogenous organic compound base fuels; and providing a gas generating agent molded member which is strong and stable with age by improving heat resistant properties and formability of the nitrogenous organic compound base fuels which are poor compared with the metallic compound azide of an inorganic matter.
