The present invention provides a further miniaturized coaxial connector. A coaxial connector includes a contact by three-point contact, a housing including a first and a second connection base, and a shell including a cylindrical portion accommodating the first connection base and an extension portion accommodating the second connection base. The contact disposed inside an accommodation space on the first connection base, includes three terminals including a pair of fixed terminals and a movable terminal that are erected from a tip end side of a metal plate. The pair of fixed terminals are located at a set of vertices among vertices of a virtual equilateral triangle inscribed in a mating contact, the movable terminal is located at the other vertex of the virtual equilateral triangle, and a contact surface of the movable terminal is disposed in a state of facing an intermediate portion of the pair of fixed terminals.

Coaxial connector with three-point contact type terminal

The present invention provides a coaxial connector capable of reducing harness processing steps. A coaxial connector includes a contact by three-point contact, a housing including a first and a second connection base, and a shell including a cylindrical portion accommodating the first connection base and an extension portion accommodating the second connection base. The central conductor of a cable is placed on an installation surface of a contact located in a predetermined part of a housing, and a crimp housing with a slot cut out to allow pressure on the periphery of the center conductor is used. The crimp housing is held in the housing and enclosed and tightened by a pair of crimp barrels (the first barrel) provided in the shell. This allows the central conductor to be securely crimped to the installation surface of the contact.

The present invention provides a coaxial connector that realizes a high frequency signal flowing through a contact in a high frequency band. A coaxial connector includes a three-point contact, a housing including a first and a second connection base, and a shell including a cylindrical portion accommodating the first connection base and an extension portion covering one opening of the cylindrical portion with a bottom plate piece and accommodating the second connection base. The bottom plate piece includes an inclined surface having a higher side on the base end portion of the metal plate and a lower side on the tip end side of the metal plate. The distance between the metal plate of the contact and the bottom surface of the shell which are isolated by an insulating material of the housing is configured to become identical between the tip end side and the base end side of the contact.

To provide a pressure contacting connection type contact for reliably connecting a coaxial cable and a mating side contact. The contact is provided with a connecting terminal and a pressure contacting terminal. The connecting terminal has a pair of contact pieces, and the mating side connector can be inserted between the pair of contact pieces. The pressure contacting terminal has an extending piece and a plurality of pressure contacting pieces. The extending piece extends from a base portion. The plurality of pressure contacting pieces are alternately disposed along both sides of the extending piece separately at the extending piece, such that the central conductor can be inserted from an outer periphery. In a state wherein the central conductor is inserted between the plurality of pressure contacting pieces separately disposed at the extending piece, the plurality of pressure contacting pieces can reliable contact the central conductor.

The pressure contacting connection type contact has a base portion, a connecting terminal for a mating side contact, and a pressure contacting terminal. The pressure contacting terminal is provided with a base end section opposing an other end side of the base portion, where an extending piece extending from second both side portions of an other side of the base portion is folded such that mutual piece thickness faces are opposed, and a pair of pressure contacting pieces having spring characteristics where, from the base end section, the extending piece extends away from the base portion to the tip portion side such that the piece thickness faces are opposed, and in addition rises obliquely at an opposite side of the protrusion direction connecting terminal, and an open angle portion of the tip side of the pressure contacting pieces in which the central conductor can be inserted from an outer direction.

Pressure contacting connection type contact and coaxial connector using the same

There is provided a ZIF connector which can be connected with a connecting part readily, correctly and reliably and a semiconductor-testing apparatus with the ZIF connector. The connector () comprises: an opening () through which a plug () is inserted; and a plurality of opposing contacts (A), (B) inside the opening (). The contacts (A), (B) are opened and closed by a contact open-and-close mechanism. A moving block () holding the contacts in a cantilever manner so that one end side of the contacts (A), (B) is open in a form of the character 'V'. A shell () for slidably housing the moving block with the contacts (A), (B). When the contact open-and-close mechanism moves the moving block () toward the opening (), the one end side of the contacts is characterized in the 'V' shape, which slides on the paired inclined faces (A), (B) of a first guide block () so as to widen the distance between the contacts (A), (B).

ZIF connector and semiconductor-testing apparatus using the same

The present invention relates to a connector which includes a plug unit and a receptacle. The plug unit includes a housing board and a transmission path board. The housing board has a housing board body and first connection terminals and second connection terminals. The transmission path board has a transmission path board body, plural differential signal patterns which are connected to the first connection terminals and the second connection terminals of the housing board, and high pass filters which are connected to each of the differential signal patterns. The receptacle has a receptacle body and pin contacts. According to the present invention, a low-frequency component of a digital signal is attenuated. Thus, since an attenuation factor of the high-frequency component and an attenuation factor of the low-frequency component of the digital signal can be set substantially the same, the digital signal can be transmitted surely.

A connection section to be connected to a conductive panel is formed from a conductive material. A dielectric substance formed for ensuring insulation of an external conductor from a conductive panel is made thin. A dielectric substance (insulator) acting as a radiation rout of an electromagnetic waveform is sandwiched between two conductors.
