Provided is a resin bush capable of slidably supporting a shaft when the bush has been fitted in a housing; particularly, a resin bush suitable for use in an environment in which the effects of a difference in thermal expansion coefficients are likely to be prominent, such as a high-temperature environment, even when the housing and the shaft are made of a material such as a metal that has a different thermal expansion coefficient from that of the resin bush. In the resin bush (), which is molded by extrusion molding, a slit () is formed from one axial end surface () towards another axial end surface (). A recessed section () for a gate (a gate position), which is provided to the one axial end surface (), is provided in a position that is deviated from being symmetrical with the slit (), at least with respect to a center axis O of a bush body (). The resin used for the material of the bush () is a resin having excellent heat resistance and chemical resistance, such as PPS resin or a PEEK resin.

A friction damper includes: a base body; a support secured to an elongated member of the base body and having a through hole; a rod which extends in such a manner as to pass through the through hole of the support and is movable in an axial direction with respect to the support; a friction member which has a hollow cylindrical portion interposed between the support and a main body portion of the rod in the through hole of the support, and which is fixed immovably with respect to the relative movement of the rod in the axial direction with respect to the base body; and a tightening means provided for the support so as to tighten the hollow cylindrical portion of the friction member onto the main body portion of the rod.

A friction damper includes a base body; a support secured to an elongated member of the base body and having a through hole; a rod which extends in such a manner as to pass through the through hole of the support and is movable in an axial direction with respect to the support; a friction member which has a hollow cylindrical portion interposed between the support and a main body portion of the rod in the through hole of the support, and which is fixed immovably with respect to the relative movement of the rod in the axial direction with respect to the base body; and a tightening structure provided for the support so as to tighten the hollow cylindrical portion of the friction member onto the main body portion of the rod.

A damper includes a vessel for accommodating a viscous fluid in its interior; hampering walls for hampering the flow of the viscous fluid; a partitioning member which partitions each of interior portions into two chambers and is provided rotatably; a communicating hole formed in the partitioning member so as to allow the two chambers to communicate with each other via a variable passage whose passage cross-sectional area changes; a flow limiter to limit the flow of the viscous fluid in the chamber into the chamber through the communicating hole, when the internal pressure of the viscous fluid accommodated in the chamber has exceeded a fixed value on the basis of the rotation of the partitioning member; and a resilient structure to resiliently urge the partitioning member in a direction with respect to the vessel.

Rotary damper

The rotary damper comprises: case having viscous fluidfilled cylindrical chamber; rotor housed in the chamber; check valve; and pressure-regulating valve. In the chamber, projecting bulkheads are formed. The rotor comprises: the rotor body and vanes. The check valve closes when the rotor rotates in the normal rotation direction, so as to restrict movement of the viscous fluid between areas-partitioned by the bulkheads and the vanes. On the other hand, the check valve opens when the rotor rotates in the reverse rotation direction, so as to allow movement of the viscous fluid between the areas-.
