An electric pump unit for a transmission, which supplies a hydraulic pressure to the transmission, includes: a pump which takes in and discharges oil; and a pump driving electric motor including a motor shaft connected to the pump, a motor rotor fixedly provided on the motor shaft, and a motor stator disposed around a circumference of the motor rotor. The pump and the electric motor are integrated with a lid that tightly closes an opening in a recess portion which is formed on a transmission housing of the transmission and into which the oil is introduced, and are accommodated within the recess portion.

Electric pump unit

A motor housing that accommodates a pump-driving electric motor and a controller that controls the electric motor is fixed to a pump body of a pump that sucks and discharges oil. A sealed motor chamber that accommodates the electric motor is formed within the motor housing. A cooling oil is filled in the motor chamber.

A rotor of an electric motor is provided in which a permanent magnet holding member can be assuredly fixed to a rotor main body and the rotor main body can be easily worked and inexpensively manufactured. In the rotor, a plurality of permanent magnetsare held in a permanent magnet holding membermade of a synthetic resin and fixed to an outer peripheral part of a cylindrical rotor main body. An outer peripheral surface of the rotor main bodyis a cylindrical surface. Rotation prevention recessed partsare formed at a plurality of parts in the circumferential direction of the outer peripheral part in both end parts of the rotor main body. The permanent magnet holding memberincludes annular partswhich come into close contact with the outer peripheral parts of both end faces of the rotor main bodyand connecting partswhich connect both the annular partson the outer peripheral surface of the rotor main bodyand hold the permanent magnets. A plurality of rotation prevention protruding partsfitted to the rotation prevention recessed partsof the rotor main bodyare formed integrally with the permanent magnet holding member

An electric pump unit includes: a unit housing; a bearing unit provided within the unit housing; a rotary portion; and a motor stator fixed to the unit housing. The rotary portion includes: a pump driving motor shaft supported by the bearing unit such that an axial position of a center of gravity of the rotary portion falls within an axial range of the bearing unit, and a motor rotor. The motor rotor includes: a disc portion which extends radially outwards from an axial end portion of the motor shaft; and a cylindrical portion which extends from an outer circumferential portion of the disc portion towards the other axial end side and surrounds an outer circumference of the bearing unit.

A power transmission apparatus for vehicles for transmitting a driving force by coupling an input shaft and an output shaft of a hydraulic pump to respective driving shafts of front and rear wheels of a four-wheel drive vehicle, wherein a throttle member which is located on the axis of a rotor and a casing interlocking respectively with the input and output shafts, rotated with interlocking with one of the rotor and casing and disposed movably along the axis to change the hydraulic fluid discharge passage area of the hydraulic pump responsive to its movement, and a driving unit which includes a magnetic member coupled coaxially to the throttle member and a coil installed around the magnetic member and supported nonrotatably, and moves the throttle member by movement of the magnetic member in connection with excitation of the coil are provided.
