A drive assist apparatus includes a storage unit that stores a three-dimensional model indicating a moving region, an input unit that receives, from a sensor group installed in the moving region, first height information indicating a first height which is a height of the mobile object and second height information indicating a second height which is a height of an object that satisfies a predetermined distance criterion from the mobile object, an extraction unit that extracts, from the three-dimensional model, a first plan view based on the first height information and a second plan view based on the second height information, a generation unit that generates a combined map for two-dimensionally showing the moving region and assisting the driving of the mobile object by combining the first plan view and the second plan view, and an output unit that transmits a generated combined map to the mobile object.

A vehicle control system includes in-vehicle devices, a comparison unit, and an occupation management unit. The comparison unit calculates a section and time of a road occupied by a first vehicle and unavailable for another vehicle to travel based on the trajectory of the first vehicle generated by the trajectory generation unit. The occupation management unit adds the section and the time calculated by the comparison unit into the occupation information.

The controller simulator retains a control program for the controller and an analysis unit, and the analysis unit has a propagation flag tracking function wherein propagation flags are assigned to a variable within the control program, bits of the variable are set by inputting a prescribed value thereto as a malfunction input value, the bits are propagated each time the variable is involved in a calculation within the control program, the states of propagation of the bits are tracked, and the result thereof is output.

Disclosed is a measurement device that can accurately measure size, position, the presence of an object, and the like by means of a simple and low-cost method. Specifically, disclosed is a measurement device that is provided with: a transmitter that transmits radio waves; a vibrating surface that vibrates mechanically; a receiver that receives radio waves; and a controller that transmits radio waves from the transmitter, and on the basis of the signal of the radio waves reflected by the vibrating surface and received by the receiver, outputs information about a measured object on the pathway between the transmitter and the receiver with the vibrating surface therebetween.

A system according to the invention detects location information of a vehicle by using a reflection strength change of an electromagnetic wave. The system incorporates a radiowave transmitter which emits a first radiowave, positional markers which generate unique reflection strengths and patterns of temporal changes in the reflection strength from the emitted first radiowave at respective absolute positions, a radiowave receiver which receives a second radiowave reflected by the positional marker and converts the second radiowave into a signal format for extracting location information to output the same, and a marker recognition device which obtains a location of the vehicle from the output of the radiowave receiver. Accordingly, a highly-precise location specification with a resolution smaller than or equal to 1 cm and a highly-reliable location specification which is not affected by slip and slide of the vehicle's wheels can be realized.
