A camera includes a lens barrel arranged to be movable between a non-photo-taking position and a photo-taking position, a flash device arranged to be movable between a stowage position and a usage position, an interlocking mechanism arranged to move the flash device from the stowage position to the usage position in association with movement of the lens barrel from the non-photo-taking position to the photo-taking position and to move the flash device from the usage position to the stowage position in association with movement of the lens barrel from the photo-taking position to the non-photo-taking position, and a toggle spring arranged to give the flash device an urging force toward the stowage position when the flash device is located in the vicinity of the stowage position and to give the flash device an urging force toward the usage position when the flash device is located in the vicinity of the usage position.

A shutter device includes a base member, a plurality of shutter blades supported by the base member and each arranged to turn in opposite directions, a shutter blade driving lever having an engaging part which engages the plurality of shutter blades and arranged to turn so as to cause each of the plurality of shutter blades to turn in the opposite directions, an eccentric pin which is rotatable, and a spring having one end thereof connected to the shutter blade driving lever and the other end thereof connected to the eccentric pin, and arranged to drive the plurality of shutter blades by urging the shutter blade driving lever in one direction, wherein an urging force of the spring is adjustable by rotating the eccentric pin.

A camera includes a first protection cover movable for opening and closing along a camera body, and a second protection cover movable for opening and closing along the camera body, wherein the second protection cover overlaps with the first protection cover when the second protection cover moves for opening.
