Connection box

Junction box

A connection box includes a wiring board. The box includes a control board connected to the wiring board. The control board including a control device and another device separated thereinto. Another device has generation heat greater than the control device.

A junction box which includes a casing and a junction box body. The junction box body includes a first board with a conducting member forming a circuit thereon; second and third boards mounted on the first board, each with a circuit formed thereon to be connected to the circuit of the first board; and a cover for housing them. The third board includes a substrate, a terminal block fitted on the substrate, and a conductor which is connected to the circuit of the third board and provided with a pressure terminal extending out of the terminal block. The pressure terminal penetrates through the first board to be connected by solderless connection to the conducting member of the first board.

Junction box and junction box forming method

A junction box of the present invention includes a junction box body, and a casing for housing the junction box body in either an upright position or a horizontal position. On the junction box body, provided is first locking piece to be engaged with a first inner side face of the casing in a state of upright disposition of the junction box body. The first locking piece abuts on a second inner side face of the casing in a state of horizontal disposition of the junction box body. In addition, also provided is second locking piece to be engaged with the first inner side face of the casing in the state of horizontal disposition of the junction box body. The second locking piece abuts on the second inner side face of the casing in the state of upright disposition of the junction box body.

The female terminal (10) of the present invention is electrically connectable with both first and second male terminals 1a, 3a having different thickness. This female terminal has a tubular portion (11) in which either one of the first and second male terminals is inserted. In the tubular portion a common contact portion (13) for contacting in common with the first or second male terminal, and first and second individual contact portions (15, 16) are provided. The first individual contact portion (15) contacts with the first male terminal (3a), while the second individual contact portion (16) contacts with the second male terminal (1a). Either one of the common contact portion and the first and second individual contact portions is formed with a spring plate (12).
