A polyoxymethylene resin composition from which formaldehyde is generated in a reduced amount upon molding, without carrying out a stabilization treatment for stabilizing an unstable terminal group in a crude oxymethylene copolymer. A hindered phenol-type antioxidant agent and an ethylene-(methacrylic acid) copolymer resin or an ethylene-(acrylic acid) copolymer resin or a salt thereof are melted and kneaded together to produce a polyoxymethylene resin composition without carrying out a stabilization treatment for stabilizing an unstable terminal group in a crude oxymethylene copolymer for which a polymerization catalyst is deactivated after the completion of copolymerization, and in which the unstable terminal group is not yet stabilized. When the polyoxymethylene resin composition is extrusion-molded, the discoloration of a molded product or the deterioration in properties of the molded product can be prevented for a long period of time. The resulting polyoxymethylene resin composition is suitable for forming an extrusion-molded article.

Method for producing polyoxymethylene resin composition

A polyoxymethylene (POM) resin composition which is used for a resin molded article having an excellent sliding characteristic and wear resistance property and also having an excellent surface property and peeling resistance property. This POM resin composition contains: (A) 100 parts by mass of a POM resin; (B) 0.01-1 parts by mass of a hindered phenolic antioxidant; (C) 0.05-1 parts by mass inclusive of a nitrogen-containing compound; (D) 0.5-10 parts by mass of a modified olefin polymer which is an olefin polymer that has been modified by an unsaturated carboxylic acid or the like; (E) 0.01-5 parts by mass of an alkylene glycol polymer that has a primary or secondary amino group and a number average molecular weight of 400-500,000; (F) 0.1-20 parts by mass of calcium carbonate which has a BET specific surface area of 15 m2/g or less, has a mean particle size of 50-200 nm or less, is surface-untreated, and is substantially cubic; (G) 0.1-10 parts by mass of a partial ester of a divalent to tetravalent alcohol; and (H) 0.1-10 parts by mass of an &#x3b1;-olefin oligomer.

Polyacetal resin composition and sliding member

A polyacetal resin composition makes it possible, when formed into a molded article, to minimize deterioration during contact with sulfur-containing fuel or an acidic detergent. The polyacetal resin composition contains (A) 100 parts by weight of polyacetal resin, (B) 0.1-1.0 parts by weight of hindered phenolic antioxidant, (C) 0.1-2.0 parts by weight of alkaline earth metal oxide, (D) 0.5-3.0 parts by weight of polyalkylene glycol, and (E) 0.01-1.0 parts by weight of polyvalent fatty acid full ester. This polyacetal resin composition minimizes reductions in the weight of a molded article even after the molded article has been immersed in sulfur-containing fuel.

A polyacetal resin composition which not only is highly inhibited from making creaking sounds but also has satisfactory performances with respect to other properties. The polyacetal resin composition includes 100 parts by weight of a polyacetal resin, 0.01-1 part by weight of a hindered phenolic antioxidant, 0.01-1 part by weight of a nitrogenous compound, 0.1-1 part by weight of a graft copolymer, 0.1-1 part by weight of a fatty acid ester, 0.5-5 parts by weight of a silicone oil, and 0.1-1 part by weight of calcium carbonate. The nitrogenous compound may be an aminotriazine compound, the graft copolymer includes an olefin-based polymer as the main chain and a vinyl-based polymer as side chains, the fatty acid ester includes a C12-32 fatty acid and a C2-30 mono- or polyhydric alcohol, and the calcium carbonate has an average particle diameter of 1 &#x3bc;m or smaller.

A polyacetal resin composition which, when formed into a molded article, minimizes degradation caused by contact with a fuel. This resin composition contains 100 parts by weight of a polyacetal copolymer resin, 0.1-1.0 parts by weight of a hindered phenol-based antioxidant, 0.1-2.0 parts by weight of a divalent metal oxide, and 0.5-3.0 parts by weight of an alkylene oxide adduct of an alkylamine and/or an alkylene oxide adduct of an alkylene diamine. Component contains magnesium oxide and/or zinc oxide, and component is one or more of general formulae (1) to (3). In these general formulae, X represents (CHO)(CHO)H, and m and n are each an integer of 0 or higher. In addition, Ris an alkyl group having 12-18 carbon atoms, and Ris an alkylene group having 2 or 3 carbon atoms. 

Polyacetal resin composition and fuel contactor provided with molded article of the polyacetal resin composition

A polyacetal resin composition which is suppressed low in formaldehyde generation, while having high stiffness and high toughness. The resin is produced by a method including blending from 0.1 part by weight to 2 parts by weight (inclusive) of a polyacetal copolymer having a branched or crosslinked structure, which is a copolymer of a trioxane, a compound having from 3 to 4 (inclusive) cyclic ether units in each molecule and a compound having one cyclic ether unit in each molecule, per 100 parts by weight of a linear polyacetal copolymer which contains an oxymethylene unit as a main constituent, while containing, as a comonomer unit, an oxyalkylene unit at a ratio of from 0.4% by mole to 0.9% by mole (inclusive) relative to the constituents of the linear polyacetal copolymer, the linear polyacetal copolymer being obtained by copolymerization wherein a heteropolyacid or the like is used as a polymerization catalyst.

Method for producing polyacetal resin composition

A polyacetal resin composition, contains a polyacetal resin, a hindered phenol antioxidant represented by a specific general formula and a fatty acid calcium salt, which can be molded. The content of the hindered phenol antioxidant in the polyacetal resin composition is from 0.05 part by mass to 1.0 part by mass (inclusive) relative to 100 parts by mass of the polyacetal resin, and the content of the fatty acid calcium salt in the polyacetal resin composition is from 0.01 part by mass to 2.0 parts by mass (inclusive) relative to 100 parts by mass of the polyacetal resin.

Fuel resistant resin molded body

A resin composition formed by mixing 99 to 70 weight % of specific whole aromatic polyesteramide liquid crystal resin (A) with 1 to 30 weight % of epoxy modified polyolefin-base resin (B) and by melting and kneading both of the resins, wherein the resin composition having a melt viscosity of 60 to 4000 Pa&#xb7;s at a shear rate of 1000/second at a temperature which is 20&#xb0; C. higher than the melting point and having a melt tension of 20 mN or more at a take-over speed of 14.8 m/minute, is melt within a temperature range of a melting point to the melting point +40&#xb0; C., a parison (P) is formed by extruding it with an extrusion speed equal to or higher than 0.3 kg/minute and lower than 5 kg/minute, a pair of moldings placed so as to sandwich the parison (P) are closed at a predetermined mold closing pressure, and air is blown into the parison (P).

Method for manufacturing pressure-resistant container liner and liquid crystal resin liner

The present invention provides a polyacetal resin composition having excellent mechanical characteristics with reduced generation of formaldehyde. To 100 parts by weight of (A1) a polyacetal resin having substantially straight chain molecular structure, there are added 0.1-20 parts by weight of (A2) a polyacetal resin having a branched or cross-linked molecular structure, 3-200 parts by weight of (B) a glass-base inorganic filler, and 0.001 to 3 parts by weight of (C) a boric acid compound.

Polyacetal resin composition

A process for producing a transparent and heat-resistant container includes forming a sheet from a melt of a polyester resin having at least 80 mole % ester units derived from 1,3-propanediol and terephthalic acid or an ester-forming derivative thereof. The formed sheet is quenched and solidified so as to have relatively low crystallinity (i.e., less than 50%). The solidified low crystallinity film is then aged and shaped by thermoforming to obtain a container having relatively high crystallinity (i.e., greater than 50%, and preferably greater than 80%). The aging step is most preferably conducted at a temperature which satisfies the relationship represented by the following equation (1):
