The invention provides a refrigeration apparatus configured to cool the interior of a casing of a heat source unit by a refrigerant. An air conditioner includes a heat source unit, a utilization unit having a utilization heat exchanger and constituting a refrigerant circuit along with the heat source unit, and a controller. The heat source unit causes heat exchange between a refrigerant and a heat source, and cools the interior of the casing, and causes a valve to switch to supply or not to supply the cooling heat exchanger with the refrigerant. The controller assesses, before the refrigerant is supplied to the cooling heat exchanger, whether or not the refrigerant flowing from the cooling heat exchanger toward the compressor comes into a wet state when the refrigerant is supplied, and determines whether or not to open the valve in accordance with an assessment result.

An air conditioner includes a heat source unit having a compressor, a first heat exchanger configured to cause heat exchange between a refrigerant and liquid fluid, a second heat exchanger configured to cause heat exchange between the refrigerant and air, and a valve configured to switch to supply or not to supply the second heat exchanger with the refrigerant, and a controller configured to control to operate the compressor and to open or close the valve. An air conditioning apparatus includes an outdoor unit and an indoor unit having an indoor heat exchanger and an indoor fan. An airflow rate setting of the indoor fan can be manually instructed. An indoor airflow rate limitation control useable to forcibly limit the airflow rate setting of the indoor fan to be nearer to a low airflow rate in accordance with an outside air temperature is carried out with the airflow rate setting of the indoor fan having been manually instructed.

An air conditioning system includes a heat pump section performing indoor air-warming by using a vapor-compression refrigeration cycle, a separate heat source section performing indoor air-warming by using a heat source separate from the heat pump section, and a control unit configured to control actions of the heat pump section and the separate heat source section. The present invention relates to an air conditioner that adjusts room temperature to a set temperature, and the problem to be solved thereby is to reduce the frequency of occurrence of situations in which the room temperature does not approach the set temperature. In the air conditioner, a target suction pressure is set to a value obtained by subtracting, from an evaporation pressure of an indoor heat exchanger, a pressure loss estimation value from an inlet of the indoor heat exchanger to a suction port of a compressor so that an evaporation temperature of the indoor heat exchanger is maintained constant. The displacement of the compressor is controlled so that the suction pressure becomes equal to the target suction pressure. A deviation determination unit determines whether the room temperature is stabilized at a temperature deviated from the set temperature. When the deviation determination unit determines that the room temperature is deviated from the set temperature, a controller changes the pressure loss estimation value so that the room temperature approaches the set temperature.

Air conditioner

An air conditioning system includes a heat pump section performing indoor air-warming by using a vapor-compression refrigeration cycle, a separate heat source section performing indoor air-warming by using a heat source separate from the heat pump section, and a control unit configured to control actions of the heat pump section and the separate heat source section. When an operation is switched from a separate heat source air-warming operation to a heat pump air-warming operation, the control unit starts the heat pump air-warming operation while the separate heat source air-warming operation is continued, and after an overlapping air-warming ending condition is met, the control unit ends the separate heat source air-warming operation. The overlapping air-warming ending condition is that a temperature difference resulting from subtracting a target indoor temperature from an indoor temperature is equal to or greater than an overlapping air-warming ending air temperature difference.

Air conditioning system with heat pump section and separate heat source section

An air conditioner is configured by appropriating existing refrigerant pipes of an existing air conditioner to update indoor units and an outdoor unit of a refrigerant circuit of the existing air conditioner. The air conditioner is disposed with an updated refrigerant circuit and a mixer disposed in the updated refrigerant circuit. The updated refrigerant circuit is filled with working refrigerant and refrigerating machine oil that include an acid trapping agent that detoxifies acid components remaining in the refrigerant pipes. The mixer mixes the acid components with the acid trapping agent during refrigeration cycle operation of the updated refrigerant circuit.
