An outboard motor includes a trolling mode. The outboard motor includes an outboard motor body including a propeller and a drive source, a tiller handle body extending forward from the outboard motor body, a grip handle extending from a front end surface of the tiller handle body and configured to steer the outboard motor body via the tiller handle body, and a trolling switch attached to the tiller handle body and configured to adjust a trolling speed. An operation portion of the trolling switch is attached to a lower front end surface of the tiller handle body, the lower front end surface being located below the grip handle.

Outboard motor

A control system for an outboard motor is provided which enables safe navigation over a shoal. A control system for an outboard motor including a propeller includes: a trim angle adjustment motor for changing the attitude of the outboard motor with respect to a watercraft; and a controller configured to selectively implement first control that operates the trim angle adjustment motor and controls the vertical position of the propeller to a first position, and second control that operates the trim angle adjustment motor and controls the vertical position of the propeller to a second position closer to a water surface than the first position. The controller acquires information on the depth of water a predetermined distance ahead in the travel direction of the watercraft, and determines which of the first control and the second control is implemented, on the basis of at least the information on the depth of water.

Control system for outboard motor

An information providing system for an internal combustion engine includes an internal combustion engine, which includes an electronic control type fuel injecting device, an operation permitting device, which can be removably mounted on the internal combustion engine, wherein while the operation permitting device is mounted on the internal combustion engine, which is associated with the operation permitting device in advance, the operation permitting device supplies electric power to the fuel injecting device at a start of the internal combustion engine, and an information providing device, which provides information about use of the internal combustion engine to a destination associated with a user of the operation permitting device, based on an operation history of the associated internal combustion engine. The operation permitting device includes a transmission unit that transmits, to the information providing device, user information of the operation permitting device and the operation history of the associated internal combustion engine.

Information providing system

A sailing assisting system is provided in which a sailing assist for a vessel which enters a specific water area where sailing of the vessel is limited is realized through a simple configuration and in which a steersman is prevented from having strange feeling. A sailing assisting system includes movable controlling devices (a shift and throttle controller, a steering device, a trim switch), actuators (a rotational shaft drive unit, a shaft drive unit, a switch drive unit) for driving these controlling devices, and a control unit for executing a notification operation and controlling the actuators to limit movable ranges of the controlling devices if a hull is determined to stay within a specific water area where the sailing of the hull is limited based on information on the specific water area and information on the position of the hull.

Sailing assisting system for vessel

A working machine management system includes a working machine having a prime mover and a control unit and a key device which is detachable from the working machine and is used for operating the working machine. The key device stores first authentication information for identifying a drivable working machine and second authentication information necessary for the prime mover to continuously operate. When the key device is attached to the working machine, the control unit confirms validity of the key device based on the first authentication information, compares input information from the outside with the second authentication information to determine whether the prime mover can be operated if the key device is valid, and controls operation of the prime mover according to the determination result.

Working machine management system and working machine

A detection apparatus for detecting a cam angle of a 4-stroke multi-cylinder engine in which explosion intervals are unequal intervals, includes a detection target member configured to rotate in synchronism with a camshaft, and first and second cam angle sensors configured to detect rotation of the detection target member. The detection target member includes a plurality of first detection target portions arranged, at equal pitches, as many as the number of cylinders of the multi-cylinder engine. The second cam angle sensor is arranged while being shifted in the rotation direction with respect to the first cam angle sensor such that any one of detection signals of the plurality of first detection target portions by the first cam angle sensor and the second cam angle sensor is output at a timing corresponding to each explosion interval.

Detection apparatus and control apparatus

A load operating device includes a power supply device which is detachable from a load and can supply power to the load in a state of being attached to the load and an electrical connection device which is provided integrally with the load and electrically connects the power supply device and the load in a state where the power supply device is attached to the load. The power supply device has a capacitor which stores power to be supplied to the load and a processing unit in which a power supply circuit from the capacitor to the processing unit via the electrical connection device is established in a state where the power supply device is electrically connected to the electrical connection device.

An outboard motor includes: an outboard motor body including a propeller driven by an internal combustion engine; a mounting portion configured to mount the outboard motor body to a hull so as to be movable relative to the hull; and an operation mechanism provided between the outboard motor body and the mounting portion and configured to adjust a relative position of the outboard motor body with respect to the hull. The operation mechanism is a link-type operation mechanism including a hydraulic cylinder as an actuator.

A general-purpose engine control device capable of improving operation efficiency when transferring a liquid using a plurality of liquid pumps and containers. In a liquid transfer system that transfers water of a river to a container by way of a liquid pump, a container, a liquid pump, and a liquid pump in this order, an engine device has a communication interface for performing communication with another engine device, and transmits, after the driving of a liquid pump is started, start instruction information instructing the start of driving a liquid pump to an engine device installed next to the liquid pump on a downstream side in a water transferring direction on the basis of information indicating a driving record of the liquid pump. In an engine pump having received the start instruction information, the driving of the liquid pump is started.

Control device for general purpose engine

A boat maneuvering support device supports maneuvering of a boat including a first propulsion device having a variable turning angle, a second propulsion device for generating a propulsive force for moving the boat in a left-right direction, and a steering mechanism for changing a turning angle of the first propulsion device and an output of the second propulsion device. The boat maneuvering support device includes a control unit which controls the turning angle of the first propulsion device and/or the output of the second propulsion device, a detection unit which detects a rotational speed of a propeller of the first propulsion device, and a calculation unit which obtains a rotational power of the boat based on the turning angle designated by the operation of the steering mechanism and the rotational speed. The control unit controls the output of the second propulsion device based on the rotational power.

Boat maneuvering support device and outboard motor

There is provided a boat maneuvering support device for a boat including an outboard motor, a power device which outputs a thrust force in a port-starboard direction, and a steering mechanism which changes a steering angle. The device includes a rotational speed detection unit which detects a rotational speed of a propeller of the outboard motor, and a control unit which controls a magnitude of the thrust force output by the power device. The control unit controls the magnitude of the thrust force output by the power device so as to change a balance between a magnitude of a first turning force which makes the boat turn by a thrust force of the outboard motor and a magnitude of a second turning force which makes the boat turn by the thrust force of the power device.

Boat maneuvering support device

A control device of a general-purpose engine which can continue operation of a working machine even when an operation management unit of the working machine has failed. The control device includes an engine control unit that controls the general-purpose engine based on a command from the operation management unit managing an operating state of the working machine, a communication interface for communicating with an external device; a management program acquisition unit that acquires a management program that is used by the operation management unit to manage the operating state, from the external device through the communication interface and stores the acquired management program in a storage medium, and an operation management substitute unit that manages the operating state of the working machine in place of the operation management unit in accordance with the management program when a failure of operation management unit is detected.

A startup assistance device, which assists startup of an internal combustion engine in which fuel is supplied from an electronically controlled fuel injection device and ignition is performed by an ignition device, includes a recoil starter which is driven by manpower and which performs cranking for starting up the internal combustion engine, an electric rotary machine which adds torque to a crankshaft of the internal combustion engine during at least one of a startup period of the internal combustion engine using the recoil starter and a standby period before the startup period, a power source unit which supplies power to the electric rotary machine, and a control unit which controls the magnitude and time of the torque output by the electric rotary machine.

Startup assistance device for internal combustion engine

A control device for a propelling system of a vessel that can support a safe sailing of the vessel while reducing the load, of a steersman by executing automatic sailing control on the vessel when the vessel enters or approaches a specific water area where the sailing is limited. When determining that a hull stays within the specific water area in a state where a revolution speed and a rotational direction of a propeller and a posture of an outboard engine are controlled based on a signal inputted from a controlling device, an ECU of the outboard engine switches the sailing of the hull to an automatic sailing where the revolution speed and rotational direction of the propeller and the posture of the outboard engine are controlled without the intervention of the controlling device.

Control device for propelling system

A server provides necessary data including at least map data and weather data for an ocean area to be navigated by a boat, and its AR-display data generating unit AR-displays a destination of the boat on captured forward-looking images displayed on a display of an information communication terminal at every via-target-point en route. And a server navigation data learning unit sequentially receives navigation data of the outboard motor from the terminal and learns navigation data that enables to reduce fuel consumption rate of an engine mounted on the outboard motor, and a server operation assist unit transmits the learned navigation data to the terminal so as to assist the operator's operation of the outboard motor accordingly.
