A display device is provided. The display device includes a chassis with an opening, a touch-screen unit, which is arranged to have a first plane thereof toward the opening and is configured to accept an input operation entered through a reactive area in the first plane when the reactive area is touched, a positioning part, which is formed on the chassis and is configured to be in contact with a non-reactive area being different from the reactive area in the touch-screen unit, and a resilient member, which is configured to urge the touch-screen unit against the positioning part.

An image-forming device includes a body frame, a belt unit, and a process cartridge. The belt unit includes a belt unit main frame having a first main end portion and a second main end portion in a first direction, a first roller disposed at the first main end portion, a second roller disposed at the second main end portion, a belt mounted around the first roller and the second roller, and a handle part disposed at the first main end portion and has a contacting part. The process cartridge includes a photosensitive drum having a photosensitive surface opposed to the belt in a second direction, and a casing accommodating the photosensitive drum and having a contacted part. The contacting part contacts the contacted part to prevent the photosensitive surface from contacting the belt unit when the process cartridge is mounted in the body frame.

An image reader including a main body with a document bed for supporting an original document; and a document cover rotatably supported at one edge with respect to the main body and capable of rotating between a closed position for covering the document bed and an open position for exposing the document bed. The document cover has a main cover body and a document pressing plate formed of a synthetic resin. The pressing plate is supported on the main cover body with vertical clearance (in a direction orthogonal to the surface of the pressing plate) through the engagement of engaging pieces having through-holes. When the document cover is in the closed position, pressing parts press the center part of the pressing plate against the document bed.

The pocket assembly is adapted to receive an ink cartridge and includes: a housing defining a pocket for receiving the ink cartridge, a needle, a door and a door mechanism. The housing has an open end and a closed end and includes a recess extending away from the pocket. The needle is mounted to the housing closed end and protrudes into the pocket. The door is movably mounted to the housing and is located within the pocket. The door mechanism is operatively coupled with door for repositioning the door between a closed position blocking access to the needle and an open position allowing access to the needle. The door is seated in the recess when in the closed position so that the door is less likely to be manually repositioned to the open position.

A pair of feed rollers are located downstream of said printing head and said platen with respect to a feeding direction of said recording medium. One of said feed rollers located in said fixed unit is displaceable between a contact position contacting with the other feed roller located in said movable unit when said movable unit is in the closed position and a release position separate from the other feed roller outside a locus of an outer profile of said movable unit. When said movable unit is closed an end portion of said continuous rolled recording medium can be set between said printing head and said platen and between said pair of feed rollers.

A cover member is openably and closeably mounted on the cabinet for lying over the unit. A rib is provided in the rear surface of the cover member, and an abutment block is provided in the openable/closable unit. The rib is brought to abutment with the block when the cover member is closed, while the abutment block is brought to abutment with the rib when the openable/closable unit is moved from the closed position to the open position. The cover is openable in accordance with the opening movement of the openable/closable unit through abutment of the rib and block whereas it is closable in accordance with the closing movement of the cover member through the abutment thereof.

Disclosed herewith is a printing apparatus for use in a cash register or the like, in which a receipt sheet and a journal sheet are disposed in parallel to each other on a platen that defines a print line and a movable printing body including a printing head which reciprocates along the platen to perform its printing operation selectively on the receipt and journal sheets in regions respectively facing these sheets. The line-feeding operation of the receipt sheet is controlled to be carried out when the printing head is located at least partially in the region facing the receipt sheet, whereby the line-feeding of the receipt sheet can be performed without interfering with the movement of the movable printing body.
