A sheet ejection device includes: a paper ejection chain () for conveying paper (W); a first pile () or a second pile () having loading plates (or) arranged in a multistage manner and used for loading the paper ejected from the paper ejection chain; a first beam sensor (or), a second beam sensor (or), and a third beam sensor (or) for detecting an intrusion into the first pile or the second pile. The sheet ejection device further comprises: a plate upper-limit position detection sensor (or) for detecting that the loading plate has been positioned at a plate upper-limit position (L); and a control device () for, based on the detection signal of the plate upper-limit position detection sensor, neglecting (disabling) a command for stopping a driving device (printing machine), the command is issued by the first to third beam sensors.

An intaglio printing press includes: a first intaglio printing unit; a second intaglio printing unit; a dryer for drying a printed surface of a sheet subjected to printing by the first intaglio printing unit; a convertible unit which holds and conveys the sheet received from the first intaglio printing unit and passes the sheet to the second intaglio printing unit in such a way that a surface of the sheet to be subjected to intaglio printing by the second intaglio printing unit is switchable between one surface and another surface of the sheet; and a second skewing adjustment cylinder and a second circumferential adjustment cylinder which are disposed between the convertible unit and the second intaglio printing unit and which adjust a position of a pattern to be intaglio-printed on the sheet by the second intaglio printing unit.

Intaglio printing press

A rotary screen printing press includes: a screen plate; a squeegee; squeegee supporting means for supporting the squeegee; and a worm and a worm wheel. The squeegee supporting means includes: a supporting plate swingably supported and supporting the worm and the worm wheel; an eccentric sleeve configured to adjust the position of the center of swinging movement of the supporting plate; and a contact surface and a screw configured to limit the direction of the movement of the supporting plate. The eccentric sleeve and the contact surface and screw cooperate with each other to move the tip of the squeegee along the tangent line of an impression cylinder at a position at which the screen plate and the squeegee contact each other.

Rotary screen printing press

In a screen printing apparatus including: an impression cylinder that receives a sheet from a transfer cylinder located upstream in the sheet transport direction through a sheet gripping device and transports the sheet held in the sheet gripping device; and a rotary screen cylinder that is in contact with the impression cylinder and performs screen printing for the sheet held by the impression cylinder, the transfer cylinder is located above the impression cylinder, and the rotary screen cylinder is located to the side of the impression cylinder so that ink, varnish, or the like accumulates in a squeegee portion including a squeegee shaft, a squeegee, and the like in the rotary screen cylinder.

Screen printing apparatus and combination printing press including the screen printing apparatus

A perfector includes: a printing unit that performs printing simultaneously on both surfaces of a paper sheet; detecting means for detecting printing conditions on both surfaces of the paper sheet; and transporting means for transporting the paper sheet to a delivery unit. The printing unit includes: a blanket impression cylinder that holds and transports the paper sheet; and a blanket cylinder in contact with the blanket impression cylinder. The transporting means includes: a transfer cylinder in contact with the blanket impression cylinder and receives the paper sheet from the blanket impression cylinder; and a delivery cylinder in contact with the transfer cylinder and receives the paper sheet from the transfer cylinder. The detecting means includes: a first checking camera that detects the printing condition on one surface of the paper sheet; and a second checking camera that detects the printing condition on the other surface of the paper sheet.

Provided is an intaglio printing press including: a gravure printing device, which performs gravure printing on one surface of a sheet of paper; dryers, which dry the one surface of the sheet of paper, on which gravure printing is performed by the gravure printing device; an intaglio printing device, which performs intaglio printing on the sheet of paper having been dried by the dryers; and a printing surface switching device, which transfers the sheet of paper from the gravure printing device to the intaglio printing device in a manner that a surface of the sheet of paper on which the intaglio printing device performs intaglio printing is switched between any one of the one surface and the other surface of the sheet of paper.

A rotary screen printing press includes: a sub-frame supporting a screen plate with brackets interposed therebetween, the screen plate being formed in a cylindrical shape; a screen-plate engagement-disengagement cylinder configured to move the sub-frame between a print position and a retreat position; and supporting plates supporting a squeegee in such a way that the squeegee is engageable with and disengageable from the inner periphery of the cylindrical screen plate. The supporting plates are supported on the sub-frame.

Proof printing press

An ink supply apparatus of a printing press includes at least one inking device. In the inking device, an ink fountain roller is rotatably supported. An ink fountain main body forms a space to store an ink together with an outer surface of the ink fountain roller. A guide member slidably supports the ink fountain main body and guides the ink fountain main body between a first position where the space is formed and a second position spaced apart from the ink fountain roller than the first position. A doctor including a blade is attached to a doctor holding member between the ink fountain main body and the ink fountain roller when the ink fountain main body is located at the second position. The blade abuts against the ink fountain roller and cleans the ink fountain roller.

Ink supply apparatus of printing press

An intaglio printing press includes: an intaglio cylinder; an ink collecting cylinder which has a blanket attached to a circumferential surface of the collecting cylinder, is in contact with the intaglio cylinder, and transfers ink onto the intaglio cylinder; multiple chablon rollers which are in contact with the ink collecting cylinder and transfer ink onto the ink collecting cylinder; and an inking device which feeds ink to the chablon rollers. In the intaglio printing press, a work space is formed between the chablon roller located at the highest position and the chablon roller immediately below the highest chablon roller. The work space allows an access to the ink collecting cylinder without detachment of the chablon rollers.

A sheet-fed printing press comprises: a screen printing unit for printing one surface of a sheet being transported; a drying unit, provided downstream of the screen printing unit in a transport direction, for drying the screen-printed one surface of the sheet; a gravure printing unit, provided downstream of the drying unit in the transport direction, for performing printing on the dried sheet; and a reversing unit, provided between the drying unit and the gravure printing unit, for switching between double-sided printing in which the other surface on the side opposite to the screen-printed one surface of the sheet is gravure-printed, and single-sided printing in which the screen-printed sheet is reversed, and the one surface of the reversed sheet is gravure-printed.

Sheet-fed printing press

In a rotary stencil printing press including a rotary screen cylinder which supports a screen printing form and is supported rotatably, and a squeegee which is located within the rotary screen cylinder and, when printing is done, contacts an inner peripheral surface of the screen printing form to transfer ink stored within the rotary screen cylinder to a web via holes of the screen printing form and, when printing is stopped, leaves the inner peripheral surface of the screen printing form, throw-on and throw-off of the squeegee with respect to the inner peripheral surface of the screen printing form, and adjustment of the position of the throw-on are performed by motors.

Ink transfer member position adjusting method and apparatus of rotary stencil printing press

A screen printing unit equipped with a rotary screen apparatus comprises a cylindrical screen rotatably supported so as to be brought into contact with a rotatable impression cylinder. Multiple small holes are formed in the circumferential surface of the screen, and are filled up with a coating material. Some of the holes corresponding to a pattern not being filled with the coating material, and a special ink stored inside the screen can be supplied to a sheet held on the outer circumferential surface of the impression cylinder so as to form a shape corresponding to the pattern. The small holes are formed only in an area of the screen in the circumferential direction thereof extending from a position corresponding to the downstream-side end of the sheet in the sheet-conveying direction to a position corresponding to the upstream-side end of the sheet in the sheet-conveying direction.

Liquid supply apparatus and method of manufacturing plate therefor

A rotary screen printing press includes, a rotary screen cylinder which supports a screen printing form and is supported rotatably; an impression cylinder which is provided to oppose the rotary screen cylinder, and is supported rotatably; and a squeegee which is located within the rotary screen cylinder and, during printing, contacts an inner peripheral surface of the screen printing form, while being pressed against it, to transfer ink stored within the rotary screen cylinder to a material to be printed, which is held on the impression cylinder, via holes of the screen printing form. The printing press has a squeegee throw-on and throw-off control device which controls the pressing force of the squeegee acting on the inner peripheral surface of the screen printing form during printing in accordance with the type and thickness of the material to be printed.
