The male joining member is provided with a tongue and a lower side groove while the female joining member is provided with a groove and a cheek. the cheek being provided with a lip. The floor elements are provided with a male vertical assembly joining member on a third edge while a fourth, opposite. edge is provided with female vertical assembly joining member.

A joint for panels, the panels comprising a core, a decorative upper surface and edges provided with joining means for positioning the panels towards one another. Predetermined portions of the edges are provided with a layer of polymer. The panels are joined to one another by use of the joining means where the polymer forms a seal in the joint preventing penetration of water into the joint wherein a highly water resistant unit of a plurality of panels is formed.

Embossed decorative boards having first and second opposite edges with a third and a fourth adjacent edge. The board includes an upper side decorative surface an upper side embossing and a base layer. The embossing is comprised by surface structure areas of which at least four are first and second outermost surface structure areas. The first outermost surface structure area has each one end edge coinciding with the first edge of the board while the second outermost surface structure area has each one end edge coinciding with the second edge. At least two surface structures having different visual characteristics are used, wherein two adjacent outermost surface structure areas within the same board have different surface structures. The end edge of the outermost surface structure areas with the same ordinal number of the first edge and the second edge has mainly the same length while the surface structure is similar.

Embossed decorative boards

A process for installation of surface elements (), the surface elements () comprising a core, a decorative upper surface () and edges () provided with joining means for mechanically locking the surface elements () together. Predetermined portions of the edges () are provided with a glue which is present on the edges () of the surface elements () in a passive dry form and which may be activated by applying a liquid. The surface elements () are joined to each other by use of the joining means wherein a unit of a plurality of surface elements () is formed.

Process for sealing of a joint

A process for the manufacture of a decorative board, which board, on its upper surface includes a decorative layer and a wear layer of cellulose and thermosetting amino resin. A decorative layer and wear layer is applied as a surface layer on a base layer and bonded thereto by pressing under elevated temperature and pressure in a laminate press. The wear layer, the decor layer and the base layer are arranged to form a stack of layers. The stack of layers are fed into a laminate press and pressed therein under heat and pressure where at least the upper surface becomes heated. The decorative board is acquired from the laminate press whereupon a forced cooling of the decorative board is initiated in order to bring the surface temperature of the decorative board down.

Process for the manufacture of a decorative laminate

A process for the manufacture of a decorative board, which board includes at least one thermosetting resin impregnated paper layer. A decor paper in the form of a web or a sheet, provided with a plurality of decor sections, each decor section being intended to constitute a d&#xe9;cor of a decorative panel, is placed as a surface layer on a base layer and bonded thereto by pressing under elevated pressure. A plurality of press plates or press foils, each press plate or press foil being provided with a surface structure intended to match at least one decor section of the decor paper, are accurately positioned on top of the thermosetting impregnated paper layer before the pressing and is after the pressing separated from the laminate achieved. The laminate will hereby be provided with a d&#xe9;cor surface with a matching surface structure which is in register with the d&#xe9;cor of the decor paper.

Process for the manufacturing of a decorative laminate provided with an aligned surface structure

A process for the manufacturing of a decorative laminate, which laminate comprises an upper decorative and abrasion resistant thermosetting laminate layer and a carrying core. The upper side of the core is provided with the abrasion resistant thermosetting laminate while the lower side of the core is provided with a balance layer. This balance layer has the purpose of preventing warping of said decorative laminate while at the same time having the purpose of acoustic dampening. The balance layer comprises a layer of a polymer. The balance layer and the thermosetting laminate are joined with said core by means of pressing. Said carrying core further is provided with a dampening foil of an elastomer arranged between the upper side of the core and the abrasion resistant thermosetting laminate. The elastomer and thermosetting laminate are joined with each other and with the core by means of pressing. The achieved laminate is then cut into panels and provided with edges intended for joining.

The first outermost surface structure areas () of the first edge () is numbered L, L, Letc. in a subsequent order starting from the third edge () while the second outermost surface structure areas () of the second edge () is numbered R, R, Retc. The end edge of the outermost surface structure areas (andrespectively) with the same ordinal number of the first edge () and the second edge () has mainly the same length while of the surface structure is similar.

Surface structured decorative boards () having a first and a second opposite edge (andrespectively). The board () include an upper side decorative surface () an upper side surface structure and a base layer. The structure is comprised by at least two surface grades () forming a decorative surface pattern on said upper side, said pattern being applied in predetermined fixed positions (P) on the first and the second edges (andrespectively). The first edge pattern positions (P) and the second edge pattern positions (P) are matched so that the pattern continues over the first and second edges (andrespectively) of adjacent boards ().
