Embodiments include methods for a user equipment (UE) to obtain positioning assistance data associated with a cell of a wireless network. Such methods include receiving a first part of the positioning assistance data associated with the cell from a positioning node via unicast in the cell, and receiving a second part of the positioning assistance data associated with the cell via system information (SI) broadcast in the cell. Such methods also include, based on the second part, determining a persistence indicator associated with the first part, and based on the persistence indicator, selectively requesting an updated first part associated with the cell from a network node of the wireless network. Other embodiments include complementary methods for a positioning node as well as UEs and positioning nodes configured to perform such methods.

The method provides a dynamic configuration for PRS based on the feedback from the UE and a location node, beamforming configuration, or any requirements for physical layer efficiently.

A method performed by a mobile terminal for verifying at least one privacy profile setting for positioning of the mobile terminal to a location network node in a communications network is provided. The method includes receiving a request from the location network node for the mobile terminal to provide a position of the mobile terminal. Positioning in wireless communication networks

A wireless device and a method therein for receiving positioning system information from a radio network node. The wireless device and the radio network node operate in a wireless communications network. The wireless device receives positioning system information broadcast scheduling information comprising information about positioning System Information Blocks that are comprised in a System Information message. Further, the wireless device receives an indication that a pSIB is segmented into pSIB segments. Based on the indication and on the pSI the wireless device determines whether or not the pSIB segments are scheduled via contiguous scheduling.
