An aspect of media management services includes allocating a portion of a storage system to a user, storing media files received from the user in the allocated portion of the storage system, and receiving a live media stream from a media recording device of the user. For each media file in a subset of the media files selected by the user, wherein the subset includes the live media stream, an aspect further includes receiving an identification of each of a plurality of target viewers, and receiving, from the user, an authorization requirement and an access code. In response to receiving a request from a target viewer that includes a corresponding access code, an aspect includes creating a listing of the media files based on the identification, presenting the listing to the target viewer, and visually differentiating, via the listing, the live media stream from the media files in the listing.

Methods, systems, and computer program products for providing media management

An aspect of managing media content includes a memory device and a processor communicatively coupled to the memory device. The processor executes program instructions for causing the processor to perform operations. The operations include providing user-selectable options for managing storage space in the memory device that is allocated for an account. The options include an option for defining a condition for generating an alert when a threshold amount of the storage space is consumed. The operations also include receiving a data stream from a media device assigned to the account, determining an encoding rate corresponding to the data stream, monitoring consumption of the storage space, and upon determining the condition is met, transmitting the alert to the media device. The alert indicates an amount of storage space consumed and an approximated amount of recording time remaining for the data stream before a maximum capacity of the storage space is reached.

Methods, devices, systems, and computer program products for managing and delivering media content

Providing media management services includes creating an account record for a first user of the media management services, allocating a first storage space to the first user that is accessible to the first user via user credentials assigned to the first user, creating an account record for a second user of the media management services, and allocating a second storage space to the second user that is accessible to the second user via user credentials assigned to the second user. The media management services also include sharing the second storage space with the first user based on a device identifier of a media recording device that is common to both the first account record and the second account record.

Methods and computer program products for reporting application and device data retrieved from within an Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) network environment are provided. IPTV system usage data is retrieved from at least one IPTV device and normalized into a predetermined data format. The IPTV system usage data is parsed according to predetermined criteria. The parsed IPTV system usage data is delivered to a dedicated data mart for storage, the IPTV system usage data that is stored within at least one dedicated data mart is accessed, and the IPTV system usage data that is stored at the at least one dedicated data mart is used to generate a report.

A selection is received to initiate a communication to the enterprise. A selection of the call back number is received. The call back number is contacted, in response to an indication that the enterprise has been contacted for initiation of the communication.

Managing and delivering media content are provided. A device includes a media recording structure for capturing a live data stream. The device further includes a media management application executable by a processor. The media management application provides a graphical user interface via an input/output component, the graphical user interface including a user-selectable option for managing the network-based storage of media files captured by the media recording structure. When selected, the user-selectable option generates an alert indicating an amount of recording time remaining for the live data stream before a storage capacity of the network-based storage is reached. The recording time is determined as a function of an encoding rate at which the live data stream is being captured. Consumption of the network-based storage is monitored for the live data stream, and an alert is generated pursuant the encoding rate.

Methods, devices, systems, and computer program products for managing and delivering media content are provided. A device includes a media recording structure for capturing the media content, an input component, and a transmitter. The device further includes a processor in communication with the media recording structure, the input component, and the transmitter. The device further includes a media management application executing on the processor. The media management application performs a method. The method includes receiving a destination address for a media file including the media content captured by the media recording structure, the destination address entered via the input component. The method also includes transmitting the media file to a receiving device associated with the destination address via the transmitter.

Method, devices, systems, and computer program products for managing and delivering a live media stream associated with a network-enabled media recording device are provided. A method includes receiving a network address for transmitting the live media stream captured by the network-enabled media recording device. The method also includes assigning a user identification to the live media stream. The user identification is associated with the network-enabled media recording device. The method further includes transmitting the live media stream and user identification via the network-enabled media recording device over a network.

Methods, devices, systems, and computer program products for managing and delivering a live media stream

Various methods, apparatuses, and computer program products are provided. One example includes a method for transferring location information. Location information is received via a network. The location information is parsed. It is determined whether the location information is in a proper format for a navigation device. In response to determining that the location information is not in the proper format, the location information is converted into the proper format for the navigation device. The location information is transmitted to the navigation device via another network, and the navigation device is capable of receiving communications over the other network.

Methods, systems, and computer program products for providing media channel services are disclosed. A method includes provisioning an Internet-Protocol (IP)-enabled media channel in response to a request to create a media channel account, which includes creating an account record for the media channel account, assigning a media device identifier to the account record, assigning a network address to the IP-based media channel, and storing the network address in the account record. The method also includes populating a storage system with editable and non-editable content. The editable content is received and controlled by a user of the media channel account via a media device, and the non-editable content is controlled by a network media services application. The method further includes creating and presenting a media channel page that includes the editable and non-editable content in response to a request by the user to initiate a session for the channel.
