Provided is a method of analyzing network traffic in a computer network. An Internet Protocol (IP) flow record of an IP flow in a computer network is selected. The selected IP flow record and additional IP flow records corresponding to the IP flow of the selected IP flow record are analyzed to obtain information related to the network traffic in the computer network.

Analyzing network traffic in a computer network

Provided is a method of identifying a Label-switched Path (LSP) associated with a Multi Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) service in a network. An MPLS service is identified in a network and logical neighbors of the MPLS service are determined. For each logical neighbor of the MPLS service, an LSP label is identified. Based on the LSP label, a unique out segment of the LSP associated with the Multi Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) service is identified.

Presented is a method and system for deriving the path of a traffic engineering tunnel in a network using Multi Protocol Label Switching, MPLS, traffic engineering and a Management Information Base, MIB, describing managed objects of the network. The method comprises: obtaining node connectivity information from the MIB; obtaining network connectivity information from a network node manager; and deriving tunnel path information based on the node connectivity information and the network connectivity information.
