A synthesis circuit synthesizes detection signals from a plurality of detection coils to generate a synthesized detection signal indicating a sine component of a rotation angle of a rotor. In this regard, the detection coils which are synthesis targets when the synthesis circuit generates the synthesized detection signal include a detection coil of a salient pole installed at a first electrical angle based on a first pole of the rotor and detection coils of salient poles installed at a second electrical angle different from the first electrical angle based on the first pole, and do not include detection coils installed at the first electrical angle based on a second pole.

Rotation angle sensor system and semiconductor device

An object of the invention is to shorten a measurement time while preventing deterioration in resolution during frequency analysis and preventing a reduction in measurement range. A pulsimeter () includes a pulse data acquisition unit (), a replication unit (), and a frequency analysis unit (). The replication unit () generates, when the number of pieces of acquired sampling data for a pulse rate calculation reaches n, m pieces of sampling data using the n pieces of sampling data and data obtained by replicating n-th sampling data. The frequency analysis unit () performs a frequency analysis on the m pieces of sampling data.

It is possible to reduce power consumption of a pulsimeter while suppressing a degradation in an accuracy of measuring pulse. A pulsimeter () includes a light emitter (), a photodetector (), an AD converter (), a frequency analyzing unit (), and an adjusting unit (). The light emitter () emits light to a blood vessel of a measurement target. The photodetector () detects light emitted by the light emitter () via the blood vessel. The AD converter () analog/digital converts an output signal of the photodetector (). The frequency analyzing unit () frequency-analyzes data converted by the AD converter (). The adjusting unit () adjusts an amount of light emitted by the light emitter () based on the analysis result by the frequency analyzing unit ().

Pulsimeter and adjustment method of pulsimeter

The present invention provides a signal processor that improves a resolution of a phase detection without increasing a clock frequency of a controller or decreasing a frequency of an excitation signal. A signal processorincludes a comparatorthat compares a signal obtained by phase modulating a carrier frequency at a rotor rotation angle of a resolver with a dither signal.

DA conversion is performed while improving resolution and reducing the influence of errors. A predetermined weight is applied to an output of at least one of a plurality of DA converters to each of which calibration data is given; the resultant outputs are added by an adder. An output of the adder is converted to a digital value by an AD converter. If the predetermined weight has an error outside an allowable range on the basis of the obtained digital value, a calibrating process of obtaining a correction factor for correcting the digital signal to be converted so as to reduce influence of the error is controlled. When a digital signal is to be converted to an analog signal with high precision, the digital signal is corrected with the correction factor, the resultant value is supplied to the DA converters, and DA converted outputs are added by the adder.
