According to some embodiments, a method performed by a wireless device operating in idle/inactive mode comprises receiving assistance information from a network node, wherein the assistance information comprises a time-domain resource guarantee for a recurrent wakeup activity; and based on the assistance information, determining whether to enter a power saving mode of operation between receiving control information associated with the recurrent wakeup activity and receiving data information associated with the recurrent wakeup activity.

Recurrent data reception in idle/inactive UE

A method performed by a user equipment, UE, in a wireless communication network is provided. The method includes receiving a bandwidth part, BWP, configuration associated with a BWP of a secondary serving cell, Scell, of the UE. The UE determines whether the BWP of the Scell of the UE is a dormant BWP based on a received higher layer parameter in a Scell configuration that indicates an identifier of the dormant BWP. In response to determining whether the BWP of the Scell is a dormant BWP, the UE determines a set of actions performable by the UE based on whether the BWP is a dormant BWP; and performs the set of actions.

There is disclosed a method of operating a receiving radio node in a wireless communication network. The UE () receives a wake-up signal with a multibit indication from a radio network node (), wherein the multibit indication comprises a first bit indicating to start or not to start, for a first cell, an on-duration timer at one or more of the next occurrence of an on-duration, and a second bit indicating to apply dormancy or non-dormancy behavior on a second cell at the next occurrence of an on-duration for the second cell. Radio network node, user equipment and methods performed in a wireless communication network

A method and apparatus provide for low latency transmissions. A higher layer configuration message can be received that indicates a set of resource blocks for receiving data packets in at least one symbol of a subframe. An attempt can be made to decode a data packet in a first set of resource elements within the set of resource blocks. The first set of resource elements can be in the at least one symbol of the subframe. An attempt can be made to decode the data packet in at least a second set of resource elements within the set of resource blocks. The second set of resource elements can be in the at least one symbol of the subframe. The second set of resource elements can include at least one resource element that is not in the first set of resource elements. The data packet in one of the first set of resource elements and the second set of resource elements can be successfully decoded. A data payload of the decoded data packet can be delivered to an application layer.

Method and apparatus for low latency transmissions

A method, system and apparatus are disclosed. A network node configured to communicate with a wireless device is provided. The network node includes processing circuitry configured to indicate, in downlink control information, DCI, a first modulation and coding scheme, MCS, associated with first transport block, TB, indicate, in the DCI, a second MCS associated with a second TB where the first MCS is indicated by a first MCS field size and the second MCS is indicated by a second MCS field size less than the first MCS field size, and communicate with the wireless device based on the first MCS and the second MCS.

Modulation and coding scheme (MCS) signalling for multi-carrier scheduling

Methods and apparatuses are disclosed for minimum scheduling offset interpretation. In one embodiment, the network node is configured receive an indication of a first preferred value for a minimum scheduling offset for a first bandwidth part, BWP, having a first subcarrier spacing, SCS, and a second preferred value for a minimum scheduling offset for a second bandwidth part, BWP, having a second subcarrier spacing, SCS; determine a minimum scheduling offset parameter for at least one of the first BWP having the first SCS and the second BWP having the second SCS based at least in part on at least one of the first preferred value and the second preferred value; and configure the wireless device with the determined minimum scheduling offset parameter. In another embodiment, a wireless device is configured to indicate the first and second preferred values.

The present disclosure described systems and methods for providing OTT services to a UE. An exemplary OTT-providing host computer includes a transceiver, a processor, and memory collective configured to provide the OTT service by initiating transmission of user data to the UE. To transmit the user data from the host computer to the wireless device, a network node sends a first control message for assigning a PDSCH, the first control message comprising a first MCS indication as described. The network node sends to the wireless device a second control message for assigning a PDSCH, the second control message comprising a second MCS indication as described. Methods and systems for performance enhancement of downlink shared channels

Embodiments include methods for a user equipment (UE) to perform different operations based on detection of wake-up signal (WUS) transmissions from a network node in a radio access network (RAN). Such methods include determining whether a WUS transmission, from the network node, is detected during a particular WUS monitoring occasion (WMO). Such methods also include, based on determining that the WUS is detected during the particular WMO, performing one or more first operations during a first time period associated with the particular WMO; and based on determining that the WUS is not detected during the particular WMO, performing one or more second operations during a second time period. Various first and second operations can be performed, with the first and second operations differing in some manner. The first and second time periods can be the same or different. Embodiments also include complementary methods performed by a network node.

Data signaling for wireless communication networks

There is provided a method of operating a wireless device, UE, in a communication network. The method includes transmitting, to the communication network, a first capability indication that indicates that the UE supports a maximum number of MIMO layers for a serving cell configuration on a carrier and the second capability indication that indicates that the UE supports a maximum number of MIMO layers for a bandwidth part, BWP, of the serving cell. The method further includes receiving a configuration that includes a first higher layer parameter associated with the maximum number of MIMO layers for a serving cell and a second higher layer parameter associated with the maximum number of MIMO layers for a specific BWP part of the serving cell, wherein the configuration is based on the first capability indication and the second capability indication. Embodiments include methods, performed by a user equipment (UE), for receiving reference signals (RS) in a wireless network. Such methods include receiving, from a network node in the wireless network, a configuration for connected-state RS transmitted by the network node. In some embodiments, the connected-state RS can be periodic channel state information RS (CSI-RS) or periodic tracking RS (TRS). Such methods include, while the UE is in a non-connected state and based on the received configuration, determining that the connected-state RS are available during one or more first occasions. Power saving signal monitoring occasions configuration and capability signaling

Embodiments include methods for a master node (MN) configured to provide a master cell group (MCG) in dual connectivity (DC) with a user equipment (UE) together with a secondary node (SN) configured to provide a secondary cell group (SCG). Such methods include determining one or more restriction parameters to control selection of the UE's SCG configuration by the SN, such that the UE's minimum required processing time, T_SCG, of SN messages scheduling UE uplink (UL) SCG transmissions is smaller than a maximum value derived from the one or more restriction parameters. A method, system and apparatus are disclosed. According to one or more embodiments, a wireless device configured to communicate with a network node is provided.
