A print job management apparatus includes a storage device that stores a data storage time associated with each of a plurality of user identifications. The data storage time indicates a period of time for storing a print job. An interface receives a print job including a user identification. A controller controls the storage device to store the received print job in association with the data storage time corresponding to the user identification included in the print job. The controller determines whether the period of time for the print job has passed since the print job is received. The controller removes from the storage device the print job for which the corresponding period of time has passed.

Print job management apparatus

A print job management apparatus includes a storage unit in which a plurality of print jobs are stored, a holding condition managing unit, and a print controlling unit. The holding condition managing unit determines whether any of the print jobs satisfy a holding condition. The print controlling unit transmits each print job that is determined to satisfy the holding condition through a communication unit to an image forming apparatus.

A digital multifunction peripheral includes a communication unit which inputs document image data, a processing circuit which processes the document image data from the communication unit, a print unit which prints an image corresponding to the document image data processed by the processing circuit, and a memory which holds a ground pattern image file which is generated by converting ground pattern image data into a machine dependent format extractable only by the processing circuit and is registered from outside. The processing circuit extracts the ground pattern image data from the ground pattern image file in a case where document image data of a ground pattern print object is input from the communication unit, and embeds the ground pattern image data into the document image data.

When one or both of color conversion data for chromatic colors and color conversion data for achromatic colors are rewritten, attribute information of the color conversion data for chromatic colors or the color conversion data for achromatic colors is updated and this attribute information is displayed on a display.

Image processing apparatus

Color conversion data used in converting an image signal into color information represented by color materials is saved in a color-conversion-data saving unit and, when the color conversion data is rewritten, before rewriting of the color conversion data, the color conversion data is copied to an area different from an area in which the color conversion data is rewritten in the color-conversion-data saving unit.

A printer comprises a receiving section which receives printing jobs from a networked personal computers, a storage section which stores the received printing jobs, and a printing section which executes a printing job extracted from the storage section. A control section of the printer determines whether the printing jobs received by the receiving section include special printing, and causes a display section to display a list of the printing jobs including the special printing. The printing section executes the printing job selected from the displayed list by the user through an input section.

A printer has a receiving section which receives print jobs, a storing section which stores the received print jobs, a display section which displays a list of the print jobs, that include special printing, an input section which forms a touch-panel-type operation panel together with the display section, and a control section. One print job is selected, by the input section, from the list displayed by the display section, and an input of changing printing conditions concerning special printing included in the selected print job is received by the input section.
