An in-wheel motor drive unit () includes: a motor portion (A) that is placed on one side in the direction of the axis of the in-wheel motor drive unit; a wheel hub portion (C) that is placed on the other side in the direction of the axis of the in-wheel motor drive unit; a speed reduction portion (B) that is placed between the motor portion and the wheel hub portion and that reduces the speed of output rotation of the motor portion to transmit the resultant output rotation to the wheel hub portion; and a first arm portion () that is formed integrally with a speed reduction portion casing () forming the outer shape of the speed reduction portion, that projects in a direction perpendicular to the axis from the speed reduction portion casing, and that has its tip end pivotally coupled to a vehicle body-side member.

In-wheel motor drive unit

A gear shaft of an output gear in a speed reducer of an in-wheel motor driving device is supported at a first end thereof and a second end thereof with respect to a housing. The gear shaft of the output gear is formed with a spline hole. The spline hole provides a spline-connection with an output shaft of a wheel hub.

In-wheel motor driving device

An object of the present invention is to prevent lubricant oil of a speed reduction unit from moving to an electric motor side and besides to prevent an eccentric load from acting on bearings supporting an input shaft. In a drive device for an electric vehicle including: a speed reduction unit including an input shaft driven by output of an electric motor; a hub unit rotationally driven by an output member of the speed reduction unit; and a housing accommodating the electric motor and the speed reduction unit, the configuration is made such that a partition for partitioning an accommodation section into respective accommodation spaces of the electric motor and the speed reduction unit is provided in the housing, and an oil seal member is placed between a peripheral edge portion of a center hole of the partition and a rotor support member the electric motor.

Drive device for electric vehicle

A drive device for an electric vehicle includes: a speed reduction unit including an input shaft driven by output of an electric motor; a hub unit rotationally driven by an output member of the speed reduction unit; and a housing accommodating the electric motor and the speed reduction unit. The drive device is provided with a power supply terminal box made up of: an accommodation recessed portion provided in a rear end surface of the housing; a power supply terminal provided inside the accommodation recessed portion; a communication hole in communication with the accommodation recessed portion and an interior of the housing; and a cover member for the accommodation recessed portion.

A fixed type constant velocity universal joint includes an outer joint member, an inner joint member, a plurality of balls for transmitting torque provided between track grooves of the outer joint member and track grooves of the inner joint member, and a cage for retaining the balls. Grease is enclosed in the fixed type constant velocity universal joint which includes a thickener and a lubricant component which is constituted by base oil. The grease contains 90% by mass or more of paraffinic mineral oil with respect to the total mass of the lubricant component of the grease, and 3 to 8% by mass of the thickener with respect to the total mass of the components of the grease.

Fixed type constant velocity universal joint

An in-wheel motor drive assembly includes a motor case defining a motor chamber and a reduction mechanism chamber provided on one side of and isolated from the motor chamber by a partition wall. An electric motor is mounted in the motor chamber. A planetary gear reduction mechanism is mounted in the reduction mechanism chamber, and reduces the rotation of the electric motor and outputs the reduced rotation to a hub ring. The reduction mechanism is lubricated by lubricating oil stored in the reduction mechanism chamber. A tapered oil guide surface is formed at the center of the inner surface of the partition wall facing the reduction mechanism chamber. The oil guide surface guides lubricating oil splashed up by the rotating reduction mechanism and flowing down along the inner surface of the partition wall, onto the rotor shaft of the electric motor, thereby lubricating bearings mounted on the rotor shaft.

In-wheel motor drive assembly

An electrophotographic liquid developer includes a carrier liquid and toner particles. The toner particles include a colorant and a resin component and are dispersed in the carrier liquid. The resin component includes a polyester resin as a main component. When 0.3 g of the liquid developer is dropped on a filter paper (which is defined in JIS P 3801) from a point of 10 mm height, the carrier liquid diffuses in the filter paper at a speed not lower than 1 mm/minute.

Liquid recording material

A recording liquid including a colorant and a carrier liquid including at least one of a liquid paraffin and a linear silicone oil. The recording liquid is an inkjet ink, a printing ink, a marker ink, a stencil ink, an electronic recording ink, a non-aqueous paint, a liquid developer or the like. When the recording liquid is a non-aqueous paint or a liquid developer, the recording ink further includes a resin.
