An inkjet recording apparatus includes a recording head, a conveyance belt, a control portion, an ink collector, and a suction portion. The ink collector includes a plurality of ink receivers that receives ink that has passed through openings of the conveyance belt during execution of flushing and a suction path leading from each of the ink receivers to the suction portion. The suction path includes a plurality of first flow paths each connected to each of the plurality of ink receivers and a merging chamber in which the plurality of first flow paths merges together and that is linked to the suction portion. As each of the first flow paths, the plurality of first flow paths is provided in parallel between each of the ink receivers and the merging chamber.

Inkjet recording apparatus

An inkjet recording apparatus includes a recording head, a conveyance belt, a control portion, an ink collector, and a suction portion. The ink collector includes a plurality of ink receivers that receives ink that has passed through openings of the conveyance belt during execution of flushing and a suction path leading from each of the ink receivers to the suction portion. The suction path includes a plurality of first flow paths each connected to each of the plurality of ink receivers, a merging chamber in which the plurality of first flow paths merges together and that is linked to the suction portion, and ink separation walls that are provided in the merging chamber and are impinged on by airflows that have passed through the first flow paths so that the ink contained in the airflows is separated from the airflows.

An ink jet recording device includes a record head, a waste ink container, and a suction mechanism that sucks gas from the waste ink container. The waste ink container includes a suction port connected to the suction mechanism, a first receiving port that receives ink, a porous absorbing member, and a first air duct formed as a space without the absorbing member, so as to connect the first receiving port and the suction port. The waste ink container further includes a blocking member having a lower gas permeability than the absorbing member, and the blocking member is disposed on a path from the first receiving port to the suction port via inside the absorbing member without passing through the first air duct.

Ink jet recording device

The inkjet recording apparatus includes a conveyance belt, a conveyance plate, a suction unit, an inkjet head, and a cleaning unit. The conveyance belt has a plurality of through holes. The suction unit causes the conveyance belt to suck the sheet. The conveyance plate includes a plurality of through holes formed in bottom portions of the plurality of recessed portions. The inkjet head includes a head main body and a head end portion adjacent to the head main body, and faces an upper surface of the conveyance plate via the conveyance belt. The cleaning unit removes ink adhering to a lower surface of the head main body. A ratio of the recessed portions per unit area in a facing region of the conveyance plate facing the head end portion is smaller than a ratio of the recessed portions per unit area in a region other than the facing region.

The inkjet recording apparatus includes a conveyance belt, a conveyance plate, a suction unit, an inkjet head, and a cleaning unit. The conveyance belt has a plurality of through holes. The conveyance plate includes a plurality of through holes formed in bottom portions of the plurality of recessed portions. The suction unit is configured to suck the sheet to the conveyance belt. The inkjet head includes a head main body and a head end portion adjacent to the head main body, and faces an upper surface of the conveyance plate via the conveyance belt. The cleaning unit removes ink adhering to a lower surface of the head main body. A depth of the recessed portion in a facing region facing the head end portion of the conveyance plate is shallower than a depth of the recessed portion in a region other than the facing region.

An ink jet recording apparatus includes a recording head, a wiper member, a cleaning liquid supply device, and a controller. The recording head includes an ink ejection surface having an ink ejection port from which ink is ejected. The cleaning liquid supply device includes a cleaning liquid supply surface having a cleaning liquid supply port from which cleaning liquid for wiping the ink ejection surface with the wiper member is supplied, and is located upstream of the ink ejection surface in a wiping direction. The controller controls a cleaning operation including squeezing out the cleaning liquid containing bubbles from the cleaning liquid supply port, and moving the wiper member carrying the cleaning liquid containing bubbles, in the wiping direction from a movement start position to an end position ahead of the ink ejection surface.

Ink jet recording apparatus

An image forming apparatus with accurate color shift correction with consideration of a change in a rotational speed of a driving portion of a laser scanning member includes a light source, the laser scanning member, a driving portion, a speed controlling portion, a light detecting portion, a light source controlling portion, a scanning lens, a housing, a temperature gradient detecting portion, a first temperature detecting portion, and a correction processing portion. The temperature gradient detecting portion detects a temperature gradient in the housing. The first temperature detecting portion detects a temperature of the scanning lens. The correction processing portion corrects an emission start timing at which light corresponding to a line of image data is emitted from the light source, based on the temperatures detected by the temperature gradient detecting portion and the first temperature detecting portion, the rotational speed of the driving portion, and a preset arithmetic expression.

Image forming apparatus with temperature-based emission start timing correction

A sensor unit includes an edge detection sensor and an illumination device. The edge detection sensor is disposed in a conveying path of a recording medium and detects a recording medium edge position in a width direction perpendicular to a conveying direction. The illumination device is disposed to face the edge detection sensor in the conveying path and emits light toward the edge detection sensor. The illumination device includes a light source and a diffuser. The light source emits light. The diffuser diffuses the light from the light source and suppresses luminance unevenness.

An inkjet recording apparatus includes a recording head, a wiper member, a cleaning liquid supply device, a cleaning liquid flow path, and a controller. The cleaning liquid flow path includes a vertical tubular member connected to the cleaning liquid supply device and extending upward, and a horizontal tubular member connected to an upper end of the vertical tubular member and extending in a horizontal direction. The controller extrudes a cleaning liquid in at least a part of the cleaning liquid flow path from a cleaning liquid supply port before control of a cleaning operation for wiping an ink ejection surface of the recording head, thereby performing control of an air bubble release operation of the cleaning liquid flow path.

An image forming apparatus includes: a housing in which a light source, a laser scanning member, a light detecting portion configured to detect light incident on a predetermined position in a scanning path of the light scanned by the laser scanning member, and a scanning lens configured to cause the light scanned by the laser scanning member to be scanned at an equal speed on an image carrier, are disposed; a temperature gradient detecting portion, configured to detect a temperature gradient of the housing, a heater configured to heat the image carrier or a sheet; and a correction processing portion configured to correct the emission start timing based on the temperature detected by the temperature gradient detecting portion, and a predetermined expression, and change content of the expression based on an operation state of the heater at a start of an image formation process.

An image forming lens is fixed to a protruding seat part, which protrudes from a bottom wall part of a casing, by using an adhesive. A concave portion is formed at an end surface of a protruding side of the protruding seat part to receive a temperature sensor. The adhesive is filled in the concave portion to fix the temperature sensor and is interposed between the end surface of the protruding side of the protruding seat part and the image forming lens to fix the image forming lens to the protruding seat part.

A setting jig to which a housing is set is prepared, a light diameter detection sensor for detecting a light diameter of light beam is arranged, instead of a photosensitive drum, at a position corresponding to a part at which the light beam is scanned on the photosensitive drum, the housing is set to the setting jig, an adhesive is coated on a lens fixing surface of the housing, a collimator lens is grasped by a grasping member to adjust a position of the collimator lens, and the adhesive coated on the lens fixing surface is hardened. When the housing is set to the setting jig, the housing is obliquely arranged such that the light diameter detection sensor does not interfere with the grasping member. The lens fixing surface is formed to be horizontal in a state in which the housing has been set to the setting jig.

Fixing method of collimator lens to housing, optical scanning device, and image forming apparatus

Provided is an optical scanning device including a light source, a deflector, a scanning lens, a synchronizing sensor, a sensor lens and a control unit. The deflector causes a scanning line to be written within an effective scanning width of a surface to be scanned. The synchronizing sensor detects a light beam that is outside the range of the effective scanning width on a scanning start side of the scanning line. The control unit controls an emission operation of the light source, and starts the writing of the scanning line at a timing in which a fixed time is added to a timing that the synchronizing sensor has detected the light beam. The sensor lens includes a diffraction grating that bends the light beam in a downstream-side direction of the scanning line, and a bending degree of the light beam by the diffraction grating changes with temperature.
