The invention relates to a separator plate for an electrochemical system, comprising a first and a second plate, which are essentially congruently arranged on top of one another. The first and/or second plates furthermore include at least one elongated projection, which protrudes on opposite sides from a plate plane of the separator plate and extends along the plate plane from an outer edge to an interior of the separator plate so that the projection of the first plate and/or the projection of the second plate, if necessary together, form a receptacle for a connector pin. The projection of the first plate or the projection of the second plate includes an indentation directed toward the respective opposite plate for fixing the connector pin in the receptacle in a force-fit and/or form-locked manner.

Separator plate and electrochemical system

The disclosure relates to a bipolar plate for an electrochemical system, and to an electrochemical system comprising a plurality of bipolar plates. The electrochemical system may be, for example, a fuel cell system, an electrochemical compressor, a redox flow battery, or an electrolyser. The bipolar plate comprising separator plates, an inlet, and an outlet. A separator plate comprising an active region.

A separator plate for an electrochemical system may have at least one passage opening for forming a media channel for feeding or discharging media. The system may also have at least one bead arrangement arranged around the at least one passage opening, for the purpose of sealing the passage opening. At least one of the flanks of the bead arrangement may have at least one opening for conducting a medium through the bead flank. The system may also have at least one guide channel that is connected, on an exterior of the bead arrangement, to the openings in the bead flank and is fluidically connected to a bead interior via the opening in the bead flank. The guide channel is designed such that a guide channel width, determined parallel to the flat surface plane of the separator plate, increases at least in some sections in the direction of the bead arrangement.

The invention relates to a sealing system consisting of a first part and a second part and at least a passage opening extending in both parts, in particular a passage opening for fluids such as hot combustion gases from combustion engines as well as a corresponding metallic flat gasket such that the sealing system comprises or consists of a first part and a second part with the first part and the second part being compressed against each other at a joint contact surface and comprising at least one passage opening in the contact surface, which protrudes into the first and/or second part, an annular groove, which is delimited by the first and the second part and which encircles the passage opening, with the first and second part in the area at least radially outside of the groove come to rest one on the other.
